i just got my new computer like 2 weeks ago and i have mcafee and everything on it but i get random short porn pop ups in windows media player,and also sumtimes when loggin of my brothers screen name a porn site pops up.anyone help?

You should install some Anti-Spyware programs. Spybot: Search and Destroy and Ad-aware are the two popular program that are available for free at www.download.com They are not preventative programs, they deal with the problem after you catch the spyware and sometimes have problems getting rid of it. I'd suggest downloading Spy Sweeper and/or Spyware Eliminator and any other anti-spyware program. Just search some torrent sites for such programs.

I'd also advise switching to Firefox, if you haven't done so already. It has built in protection against spyware.

ya i do use firefox sumtimes,it was probably sum1 else on this computer looking at porn who turned of mcafee,it will tell u if there is sumthing trying to install on ur comp and delete it,like when u go to mscracks.com

ofcourse in do,but im smart when i go to sites so i know which ones have adware and shit.

Any porn site that is "free" usually installs spyware on the homepage. If that's what your brother has been looking at, that's your source.

SF made a great thread about spyware help, I'm sure a premium could find it for you.
