Someone PLEASE help me!!!

I have LimeWire, and whenever I download an audio or video file, and try to open it in Window's Media Player (or any player), I have to "get a licence". The problem is, I can't get a licence, because my Internet Explorer is broken (and I'm not going to bother to fix the god damn thing). It only happens on files downloaded from LimeWire, NO OTHER FILES DO IT, besides the ones downloaded from LimeWire. PLEASE help me, this is pissing me off greatly. :banghead:

Usually that's because the file is "wmv" and is usally like 2,000 kb or something. It isn't a video, it's just some link to a porn site or something.

That happens pretty much whenever you try to download a porn video with a .wmv extension. Is that what you're doing? :lol:

Yeah that's true now that 'Stupified' mentions it... I'd be wary of any wmv file that - well, my experience was kazaa- is roughly 2,000 - 4,000 kb. -- A few friends of mine got nailed with the MyDoom virus because the "license" Windows Med. downloaded was the virus. Needless to say, I like my Zonealarm Internet pop-up alert.

yeah, lol that only happens when you download porn. maybe you could try running a virus scan or a spyware scan. you can try a program called Anti Spyware, its a beta released program from microsoft and it is 100x better than all programs put togetehr. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=321cd7a2-6a57-4c57-a8bd-dbf62eda9671&displaylang=en
