MARCH 23--The Minnesota teenager responsible for Monday's high school shooting spree last year created a violent, blood-soaked video that included an animated character shooting four people and blowing up a police car before committing suicide, The Smoking Gun has learned. Using the alias "Regret," Jeff Weise, 16, last October posted online a 30-second animation entitled "Target Practice." Weise posted a second short, "Clown," several weeks after uploading "Target Practice" to the internet. The 50-second "Clown" ends with one character apparently being strangled by the clown. In a brief bio accompanying his Flash animations, Weise described himself as "nothin but a Native American teenage-stoner-industrialist," whose favorite movies included "Dawn of the Dead," "Thunderheart," and "Elephant," director Gus Van Sant's 2003 film about a Columbine-style school shooting (on his MSN profile page (http://members.msn.com/default.msnw?guids=5dADiyqjHEuLIovG2SLN!GVb7qcSWtv 9TKrYEbky4efOgHQf2d!*5afrtK1p4fmmzZ), Weise actually included an "Elephant" movie still showing two teenage characters--dressed in camouflage and carrying duffle bags containing weapons--heading for a school door). The web page with links to Weise's two Flash animations includes his photo (seen above) and an e-mail address (decemberofthesoul@hotmail.com) that the teen used when posting 34 comments on the web site nazi.org, where Weise used the handles "nativenazi" and "todesengel," which translates to "angel of death" in German. According to police, Weise's killing rampage began with the murder of his grandfather and the man's female companion and ended at Red Lake High School, where he killed an unarmed security guard, a teacher, and five fellow students before apparently committing suicide. Seven others were wounded, including two teenage victims who remain in critical condition at a North Dakota hospital.

Most of the time things like these happens because people are picked on relentlessly. People just don't let up on them, and they go insane with rage.

Don't pick on people. It could be the last time you do anything. You don't know how their day went, or how their social life is. You may be the last straw, and the first kill.

Exactly what I thought when I saw that review. Who knows, maybe at the time he did know fantasy from reality. A lot can happen in 6 months. People can be perfectly normal, but then something triggers a chemical imbalance and they snap.

Are you talking about the pic on his livejournal ? I'm pretty sure thats just a pic of Nirvana, wich would make since considering Cobain. Everyone gets picked on at some point in their lives. Anyone fucked up enough to do something like he did is gonna snap at one point or another regardless of wether they are picked on. I can't believe as much as stuff like this goes on now that schools still don't have better security. He went through a metal detector and then an UNARMED guard walked up to him. WTF is the point then! In high school i was in a band with a guy who stole an old woman's car at gunpoint, drove to our high school, and shot himself in the middle of the lobby. As far as i know that school never did anything more than hire some fat lazy cop that sat around in the lobby and bugged students all day.

Heres an Ironic twist to the whole thing. The movie was posted on ***************, and one of the reviews for the movie before the shooting was:

A lot of people enjoyed how his 2 flashes were animated, he could of been very good someday, waste of talent if you ask me. Kind of stupid to say its crudely animated, it was above average for a newgrounds flash.

After editing it so that my quote doesn't break any rules, I conclude that that is one of the most confusing posts that I have ever seen.

Anyway, he did make a second flash, and it wasn't bad. Provided that the flash is just a clown killing some kid, it was done in a very Salad Fingers-esque dark fashion.
