This actually happened about 6 months ago. I downloaded the TRIAL VERSION of CyberLink PowerDVD, in hopes of being able to take screenshots of DVDs using it's Screenshot capture tool. Unfortunatly, the fucking program made it to were I can only play DVDs using Cyberlink software  . When trying to play a DVD using Windows Media Player, I'll either recieve an error message, have an error playing it, or just hear the sound, and not see the video.
How do I know that it was Cyberlink that was the culprate? - Because anyone that has tried Cyberlink has experienced the same problem.
Why don't I just use Cyberlink's software? - Because the 30-day trial has expired, and I refuse to give money to a company that purposely fucked up my computer's DVD playback, in order to recieve gain from my hard-earned money.
I doubt it, but can someone help me??? :help:
