Yup. Apparently it costs 8 bucks and it filters out the channel, who, the inventor says "Isn't even a news channel to begin with".
Both sides raise vaild points - still, I just find it humourous that someone went and made a statement by inventing something like this..
Here ya go...

Hmmm I'm up here in the big empty known as canada.. :P so forgive me if this sounds clued out.. Isn't Fox News channel a 24 hour news channel like CNN? -- or is it basically a Fox network channel that shares time? I dunno.. Either way, I use my TV for movies. Wheeee...
(--well, and for the occasional Simpsons/Family Guy jaunt) :D

Yup. Apparently it only takes a few seconds to look through the posts, which, the author might have "already covered this topic to begin with".
Both sides raise vaild points - still, I just find it humourous that someone went and made a post without looking if someone made the same one already..

Jeepers, sorry. I did look. I hadn't seen the story yet -- and, like I usually do, I'll take a key word or two (in this case "Fox" and "Blocker" --and do a quick title search for them on both forum Current Event pages) .. Nothing came up, and I must've somehow missed the article you're mentioning, so I thought it was okay..

What the hell? My tv has a setting that allows you to not view the channels you want, it just skips them, and my tv is older than me literally. People in Oklahoma must be really fucking stupid.

Yeah, that's true, my TV remote's got a button that does the same thing: the "CH+" and the "CH-" button. :p

You don't need all this high-tech shit, like "Fox Blocker" and all these settings on your TV to skip a damn channel. Waste of damn time, what a dipshit.

In the South. And not all. Just a lot more on average.

8 bucks? Why don't you just not watch that channel? It's not that hard.
