I find it wierd that in the article it says the girls name, but if you read the conversation between her and the dispatcher, it blocks out her name. Well anyways, that's just sad that some asshole is gonna kill the parents of a 5 year old child. Damn shame.

Ow man this pisses me off, they already knew that guy was dangerous. So often 'not enough evidence' is said with stalker/threat cases, while they are doing harm or indeed end up killing people... This guy apparently even said several times he would kill them... 'Ohhhh I thought he was joking?' wtf?

Poor kid will have a life long trauma right there. And the asshole killed himself too? If all these lunatics would just do that right away :mad:

The shooter killed himself. Which exactly why I'm against the death penalty. I'm against giving these bastards what they want and give them an ACTUAL punishment.

I marvel at the little girl being smart enough to call 911. I sure hope nothing happens to my husband and/or I, but if it does, I hope my son will have the presense of mind to call 911.

What a sad, sad story. I hope the little girl is okay, I'm sure the sight of her parents bleeding like that must have been traumatic.

I know he killed himself, I was just trying to point out that cases like this are precisely why I am for the death penalty, but to each their own. And Julia I agree, it is very important that people teach their kids about 911.

I love and adore the concept of crule and unusual punishment. We just need to find creative ways to scare the living shit out of would be shit heads with an I Don't Care attitude. Perhaps feeding them to sharks would be a good start?

I find it rather odd that the 5-yr old referred to the police officer as a "Deputy". Maybe the kid had police in the family, but "Deputy" is not a term in every 5-year old's vocabulary. It is similar to knowing the difference between "Private" and "Sergeant". I am unsure, but that seems very odd.

For a 5 year old...wow !

The big problem is that due to her intelligence....Shes going to remember it.

I hope she has brains enough in the future not to let this wreck all she could accomplish.

Yeah, it's pretty sad what people will do over drugs. It's terrible how the one who suffers is the child who did nothing. She woke up and all of the sudden had no parents.

I say.. (even if they were charged with a different - but equally horrible crime) -- just tattoo the word "RAPIST" in big black letters across their forehead.

Or, just make a public service announcement of when the criminal will be making a court-ordered stroll down the street from intersection 'A' to intersection 'B' at such-and-such a time. After which, if they make it, they can go free. ahhh.. they'd get about 2 feet I'm guessing..

The couple apparently feared the suspect and tried to get a court-ordered injunction to keep him away from their family. However, a judge denied the request on account that there was not enough evidence to support the stalking charge.


Is there enough evidence now????
