I think he's a pretty talented guy if you like rap (which i do), but he's started making some weird shit lately thats just way too out there for my taste...his last cd had a few good songs but all-in-all was pretty effed up.

He can dish it out but cant handle getting it tossed back at him. WHen triumph was on the MTV awards he was gonan talk to eminem, but was pushed away from it shows how much of a pussy he is. Triumph (or the guy doing hsi voice rather) woulda ripped on it so bad, just as he deserves tho.

He can rhyme like a motherfucker, and has good rhythm most of the time. But after album three, he just ran out of things to say. Plus, parents stopped fearing him once they realized he wasn't out to rape and kill everybody, and nothing he does is considered controversial. He's the kind of guy who needs that controversy, and without it, he's just blah and annoying.

Eminem is talented as a rap artist can get (not much, really). But his stuff is getting too repetitive. When I heard someone telling me about Mockingbird, they said "it's about his kid" and all I could do was say "again?"

I think he is washed up man. I liked his first few albums, after that he just started pissing me off. He can only rap off anger and hate, he sucks at rappin about anything else. That's why he starts shit. Not to mention he ruined the Tupac legacy when he started makin beats for Pac songs. . .

Compared to other artists in the 'rap industry', I have to say he is one of the more talented ones. He knows what to say to get publicity, and he says it pretty well.

At the end of the day though, he's in it all for the money though. The reason for his song diversity is to appeal to a wider variety of different crowds, resulting in more record sales. Like the majority of musicians these days, he is just as much of an actor as he is a rapper.

Don't get me wrong.. i'm a big fan of most of his songs. I like the beat to almost all of them and appreciate him as an artist, but i'm not going to kid myself - he is just doing what it takes to make a buck in this world, and doing a good job at it.

I think eminem is becoming another one of those wasted talents. Gather up all rappers from all time and judge them lyrically, Eminem would come out on top, hands down. His skill with wordplay is nothing short of amazing. He can also free style crazy good, and free stylin is far from being easy. He has the amazing talent needed to make it, he just doesnt know how to use it. With Slim Shady LP and Marshal Mathers LP he knew what he wanted to say, said it, and it worked perfectly. With Eminem Show and Encore, he didnt really have anything left to say, so he just tried to find something useless to stir up controversy (i.e. Just Lose It). Hes becoming another Christina Aguliera. She stated off with an AMAZING voice, leagues ahead of Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson, but she threw it away in shit songs. Eminem has the potential to write better than any other rapper in history, he just doesnt know what he wants to write about.
