Listen to the beginning, the person answering does not say '911 emergency' but says 'Sheriff's office'. The lady called the non-emergency number. If it was 911 they would have interrupted her, told her this number is for emergency's only and then hang up on her. You guys just blindly believed it was a 911 call without listening to it.

Again, that's wrong, San Clemente and Laguna Niguel are far from being small towns, I live in the same county and they are very large cities, 50K and 60K respectively. When you dial 911 in Orange County, CA, you get 911, not the Sheriff's Office...

In response to the mystery of why the woman from the sheriff's office stayed on the line so long, trust me, I work at a call center and there's always that one woman who's worked there 30 years, and figures that means she no longer needs to follow the rules. I gave the people at my office the link to this and all my coworkers haven't a doubt that's it's completely legit. In fact, I myself have handled much stranger calls. I'd record and post them if it weren't for the fact that my job description clearly states that doing such things would get me fired.

But just for an example, I've had a woman call to tell me that Satan's hand comes out of her toilet to grab her ass every time she tries to use it. And I've spoken with a man who I later discovered escaped from a mental institution and dialed a number on a telephone at random. And I work a supplies ordering line in a college. :insane:

First of all, it's a county of 3 million people, 10% of California's population live in this county. It is setup for 911 calls alot differently then hick towns or even cities of 50K or more that are isolated. And like I said before, if you call 911 in Orange County, you get 911, not the Sherriff's Office, I know cause I live here, you don't know cause you don't live here and are acting like an ignorant dumbass who think's he knows everything. Learn that you aren't always right bitch. :lol:

I work in the 911 system as I am a firefighter, so not only can the call go to either the local Police Department, Sheriffs Office, Fire Depaertment or maybe a private service, it doesn't matter what Town, City or County.

It all depends on how they have it set up. Now who is the dumbfuck? Yes, I said it, fuck. I didn't use ****.

Fuckin-A, if you don't like the service you're given, get your money back, call the Burger King 1-800 number (I know there is one, all fast food places have them), complain about the place, and never go back.
