i want to learn how to do flash animation

It is not easy to learn by your self especialy all the actionscripting
I have had it for a long time now and still not been able to do everything i want.
Im sure someone will say otherwise but thats just me.

If you have flash mx the best thing to do is go to help and then lessons and you can open something and it teaches u how to animate and tween and the other stuff u can do. I just found out about that a week ago.

Actionscript is used for movie/game control. Its a form of programming in flash (I think).

You normally use advanced actionscript for Games and stuff.

But mostly, the typical movie doesn't use much.

Very true, action script's other main purpose is to create randomly generated flashes containing anything from a simple line to a complex formation of bitmaps and 3D objects.
