so this band, Atreyu, has great music but i think the vocalist(s?) suck. i'm wondering if there's a prog out there that can remove the voice altogether, leaving just a great song of music. not dissing atreyu, i just don't like their singing (and yes i listen to screamo)

Check it out, the japs are so nice they invented karaoke If you search in a p2p program for these magical karaoke songs you might, just find what you're looking for.

I hate the Japanese. They piss me off. Even if they did invent karaoke, I invented the f'ing clap-on clap-off light.

And tophizzle, you didn't really contribute to this thread. You always bitch and whine about how noone contributes, when what you said was a piece of shit. You search a p2p for "atreyu karaoke", and tell me what you find. 0. Exactly 0 results for that shithole of a search.

It got you off your sorry ass to try something else. How far is your thumb up your ass to realize that searching a search engine like, yahoo (http://http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=voice+remover+program)
or google (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=voice+remover+program&spell=1) instead of asking a humor forum would be 50 times easier

Dumbass

Considering you wanted your penis up my ass last night, I believe my thumb isn't there, but rather in your sister's loose vagina. Besides, yahoo sucks and search engines don't really give you much help with music files.

Click the fucking links. Because you are an incompetent, insolent sorry excuse of a 12 year-old castrated child, I went and put the keywords in the engine! How thoughtful of me!

Idiot

I went to the links, and all of them are for the studio. I need it for music files on my computer.

In one of my bass magazines they had this device which you put a cd in and it removes the vocals for singers to train with. It ain't a computer program and probably a little too pricey just for a few atreyu songs but that's all I got...

Hmmmmm aren't these songs with no vocals called Instrumentals?...

Nope, didn't think so. So I definitely WOULD NOT try searching for INSTRUMENTALS at all.

Nope, DO NOT even THINK about it. Because it wouldn't work even if you tried.

So DON'T search for Instrumentals or you will be sad. :(

Yeah, see any instrumentals for basically all the songs from Atreyu? Didn't think so assclown, you misread my post and made a worthless post replying to it, which includes 3 or 4 huge bolded words. I want to remove the lyrics FOR PARTICULAR SONGS! NOT LOOK FOR NEW SONGS WITHOUT WORDS. Assclown.

Well, first of all, I didn't waste my time searching for anything for you so I wouldn't know if there were any instrumentals or not. Second of all, I did not misread your post. I saw that you wanted a song without vocals.....and *GASP* those are called instrumentals. Third of all, I like you, you like to make ASSumptions. :D

Anyways,

Buy the CD single for the song you want, USUALLY, you get the instrumental on there, or as you like to call it, particular songs with no words. Or, you can try something that is the most difficult thing to do in the whole entire world....

Use google and type "vocal remover". It's crazy I know, but just crazy enough so that it just might work!

:wtf:

PS. I <3 little words

Or, you can always type in white so no one can see what you're writing. ;)

Try Dart Karaoke studio. It has a tool that can rip out the vocals. Works really well on some songs, but on others it totally mangles them or instead of taking out the voice, it takes out an instrument.

Worth a shot.

Seriously...Fry had a good question...and instead of trying to help him you feel like you need to call him an idiot for asking...

Well, even if you DID have some sort of response, read the fucking thread first...Nobody so far has said anything anywhere CLOSE to topic...

No fry, I don't know of a program that will specifically do what you ask, but you may be able to break down the frequencies and manually "pick" out the vocals using Fruity Loops (http://www.fruityloops.com/), if that doesn't work you might be able to try out a free media editing software (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=audio+editing&spell=1) and do the same.

But....but, I thought being a "faggot" on the internet would be writing in little words...?

Actually replying using a smiley sandwich is...

Use software like Adobe Audition...basically what it does it it cancels out whatever is in the perfect center of the sound scape. This includes vocals, a little bass, and bass drum.

You can buy software that does this, but it aint cheap and isnt that great. Basicly you select the type of vocalist and it EQ's out the frequency range that it would cover. Unless your doing Barry White songs this is mostly mid range frequencies so say goodbye to your guitars and half the drum kit too.

Alternitivly there is something you can do with 2 tracks and inverting the phase on one of them cancelling out the backing track, then inverting the icolated vocal part which will cancel out the vocals on the origional.
