The question I bring forth in this thread is what is the craziest show you have been to, weathe it was the band, the crowd or just something that happened at the concert.
The craziest concert I have ever been to was Hellfest 2004 in Newark. Hellfest was already nuts in thes fact I couldn't drink or smoke inside. Plus for each regualr band there was no guard rail and tonnes o people would jump on stage and swarm the singer to scream into the mic. Then there were the pits that were filled with these lunatic hardcore people from NJ and NY (who apparently hate each other).
the most insaine thing happened thouhg for a band called Bad Luck 13, I had never heard of them but apparently they are pretty popular in the tri state area. The night before the show someone in our hotel told us that there base player was staying at the hotel and he had told them that they were going to completely trash the place. It just so happened to be Bad Luck 13's last show and they already had quite the reputation as being some crazy fuckers. Of course I wanted to see theis band play so I got a spot a good distance away from the crowd so I could watch what I would soon find out to be a small stage riot. When Bad luck 13 came on stage they all had masks on and brought a whole bunch of extra people on stage with them. It quickly turned crazy. There were people beating ech other with 2x4's covered in barbed wire on stage, people jumping into the crowd smashing florecent lightbulbs on moshers, there were dead chicken carcases, chairs, garbage being thrown all around the place. Then these guys in Los luchadoras masks were running around the crowd causing havok, they went over to these metal bleachers and flipped them right over almost crushing people, they ripped down all the posters and drapes that were hanging from the ceiling plus I saw one of them throw a metal chair right ito this poor dudes head. By this point the band had ran away and there were a whole bunch of fire extinguisers going off (i imagine to give the band some cover). The crowd was in an uproar they were all just running around in a frenzy becasue they honestly thought their lives were in jeopardy. it was by far the craziest thing I had ever seen in my life and I am so happy I went to see them instead of Fear factory.
