For that round i choose the 1st weapon, the gold chain, the 2 potions. I go medevil (yes, it's spelt wrong) on all of the stuff, still like 100 behind...

Yeah, MrScary's got a nice score there. But how I did it was I just used the club for the first couple levels, only buying a charm. Later on, upgraded to the mallet and started using my oh-so-super strength potions. And don't buy too much at one time.

You have to buy the potion every level. Its worth it though!

Once I get the best weapon I start buying the lucky one aswell coz its only 200 gold and all the rocks, vases, scarecrows, buckets give you alot more.

My best so far is level 13. I will get further though. Its only some fine tweaking thats needed!

It was sick hahah I was just fooling around.... this is what I did :


After first level I bought the strength shit and the cheapest weapon( that wooden thing for 500$)

then I played more and I bought the strength everytime, until I had enough for money for that sword ( one weapon before the best )


I played with that a lot, bought strength and lucky golden thing every level, then at some point I just bought the best weapon..


I think you have to get less gold or something if you just bought a weapon... so maybe the key is to buy all the weapons one by one?

I dunno I got to 90k I'm stoked heehhe

I dont know how in the hell you people are getting so far in this game.

I have tried every combination that you guys have said and NOTHING.

I tried what the last poster, Avichai, said. I bought the wood $500 thing and the potion after the first level, saved up enough for the sword and potion and lucky thing at around the fourth level and then I had like $3000 left over and the next level it wanted friggin $9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It did NOT lower the amount of coins I needed after buying the sword and stuff.

There is no way you can get 6000 in a level!!

I hit EVERYTHING too, and medieval. I didnt miss a damn thing for the first four levels.

Here is what I do after the first level you need to have at least 1,500 to 1,700 gold, dont buy anything then after the second level you should have at least 3,200 I buy the sword at this level. after the next 2 levels I buy the mace and str potions every level after. I get to at least level 12 this way.

you need a fast computer. the game's clock always stays the same, but if you have a fast computer you move faster and are able to hit more things. i used to get around 1k the first level, but the one day my comp got a lil faster and i started getting 2000 gold at least in the first level. then i would get around 5k in the second, then around 10k in the third.

Wow, there are a lot people people asking how to get by on this game...this game was way to easy...you never buy the cheap weapons...ever!!!...lol. I save my money and get all the good stuff and from there it got boring after the 7th level....really boring.

I am hopelessly addicted to this game. What I've been doing is getting as much gold as I can as fast as I can, then buying the biggest weapon as soon as I'm able to afford it. It seems to be working pretty well.

I was doing pretty good there for a while, using bone's suggestions. I was getting up to level 12.

Now I can't get past level 4 and I'm not doing anything different.

I do notice that what you're expected to collect on each level changes from game to game, I can't figure that out, but it must have to do with how much you've collected and spent on previous levels because what else could it be. Plus you don't really "save" anything from one level to the next.

Good thing it's only a game. :)

I got to level 16, here's some tips:

Always try to hit more than one thing at a time! this is very important, any time two things are coming together try to hit them both, this increases your bonuses from the coins. It dont matter what type of swing it is either (medievil or regular), you'll get bonuses either way.

Of course every other swing should be a medevil swing, so make sure your keeping an eye out on that meter at the top every other swing to make sure its medievil.

Coonboogy is right about a fast computer, the game timer countdown goes the same pace no matter what, but the pace of the game can slow down tremendously if you have a slower CPU, If yer using windows XP, press ctrl-alt-del and observe the cpu usage, if it's at 100% while playing the game, then you need to get it lower than 100% to get the full pace of the game for you. You can speed it up by decreasing the graphic settings, and getting rid of other CPU-using appliations in the background.

Here's how you buy your weapons: After the first stage you should have got around 2500 gold, use that to buy the battle axe, and if you have 200 gold left, use that to buy the lucky amulet, if you did'nt make enough to buy it, then just buy the battle hammer. Next stage you should come up with a little over 4000 gold, buy the mace, and if you have enough, the emulet also, if you dont have enough to buy the mace, then keep trying over again until you can after the second stage. Every stage on out buy the lucky amulet and strengh tonic. Never buy the Armor oil, armor oil is only for noobs who miss too much, and you should NEVER miss a swing anyway, so never buy it.

You don't need the oil. With the strength potion, your weapon will automatically be ready to use after it hits midievil (sp?). It'll save you a few hundred coins every round. :bang:

Hey, I basically signed-up just to reply to this thread. I got the game yesterday and Im in shock that this is so hard for you all. Now Im sure you're all thinking im a %$#@'n @#$ who has no clue what he's talking about, but on my first day I made it over 100,000, so I'm gonna share.

First of all, lets master going medieval.
I want you to click your mouse's left button, and hold it down for three seconds. Hard? If so, repeat until you get the hang of it. Very good, let's move on.

The first two levels are the most important levels. Follow exactly what I say.

Every click you make should hit someone (or something) and then be held down to charge for medieval. Essentially every other hit you make should be medieval (or close).
Hit everything!!! Vases, shops, people, birds, chairs, tables, hay, whatever you see, just HIT!
It also helps to hit two things at once, gains you a bonus.
By the end of the first level you should have made over 2,000.

Now before you start level two buy the amulet and NOTHING else.
Once again hit everything (besides witch)!!!
Now then, you should have over 4,000, no sweat.

Before level three starts buy the Spiked Mace. Wow, I can't believe none of you have mentioned this. This is the best time in the whole game to buy it. SO BUY IT!!!
Once again hit everything (except witch)!!!

You now have the best weapon in the game after two levels. Not bad eh?

Once you get to around 80,000 the levels might start getting hard so I recommend buying amulet. NEVER BUY ARMOR OIL!!! If you need it you shouldn't be playing the game.

Anyway, no skill is involved using my way until about 100,000. After that it will take some skill. Good luck and see you on high scores.
