Who cares? It was mostly comprised of Nintendo music, so that's why eBaum chose to use the name "Nintendo A Capella".
As for my opinion, I friggin' loved this video :D I now have a new appreciation for choir singers

Indeed it was :D The only thing that could've made it exceptionally sweeter was if they cut everything a little shorter, remove Tetris and MK, and go for a full-Nintendo theme, and maybe do a little bit of every theme song. For example, still do the Super Mario and Zelda themes, but shorten them, take out the alternate Mario games, and toss in some Donkey Kong, F-Zero, Fire Emblem...that woulda been great to hear

Who the hell said Mortal Kombat was not a Nintendo License? My brother got that game for the Nintendo, and I played it almost everyday after he got it. To PsiRedEye who said it did not belong to the Nintendo license: Congratulations!!! You're an idiot!

I think Midway publishes Mortal Kombat, not Nintendo. Nintendo publishes its own games such as Zelda and Mario and I'm pretty sure Mortal Kombat is not under their license or else you wouldn't see Mortal Kombat available for PS2 or XBox.

Yes, it's for a Nintendo system. Tetris, as well, is for a Nintendo system. Neither of them are Nintendo licenses. Mega Man? Capcom. Castlevania? Konami.
Congratulations, you're a fucking retard.
Technically, all of the Mortal Kombat games that appeared on Nintendo systems are licensed by Nintendo. If a game carries the "Official Nintendo Seal," then it's licensed and approved by Nintendo to be played on one of its systems. To see what I'm talking about, check out this link:

Anyway, I know the point you all are trying to make: Mortal Kombat was not developed nor published by Nintendo. And you're right, it wasn't. It was developed by Midway and most, if not all, of the MK games released on Nintendo systems were published by Acclaim.
BTW, isn't the MK song sung in the video clip from one of the MK movies and not actually from one of the games?

Think of all the thousands of games which have come out on the various Nintendo systems, do you think they were all developed by Nintendo? They do make stuff like Mario, Zelda etc. but most of it is done by a developer company who then sells the game, usually to all three major consoles. If a game is made by Nintendo, it won't come out for PS2 of XBox.
About the video, it was both amazing and blissful. Tetris and MK I didn't get, but the Mario and Zelda themes were, for lack of better words, music to my ears. I still consider Mario and Zelda games to be some of the greatest games of all time, even the old ones with crusty graphics and music consisting of a few beeps.
