can someone tell me some software i can download to make animated gifs

Search "Animated Gif maker" in google. I did that, and i found a program.

My recommendation would be paint shop pro, or photoshop because they both come with gif animators. They are both fairly easy to use (paint shop pro is simpler). You probably dont necessarily need something that big though if that is all you are making is a gif animator. But both of those im sure have tutorials out there to explain how to use it as well.

I use Ulead gif animator version 5 - it does everything I need...

hmm I think you can do stuff with gifs using Imageready (pretty sure it comes with photoshop CS). Also there is Coffeecup gif animator. I prefer Ulead though. check it out

If you are making gifs from scratch you'll want to use these gif programs in conjunction with some image editor like paintshop or photoshop...
