GT4 Top Speed Depo

Post your fastest Top speed in GT4 using your own settings. I like to seperate it in 2 catagories, Production cars, & Race Cars, there are no ristrictions except for cheating devises or game glitches (Breaking through the wall of the Top Speed corse) They have to be legit set ups and of your own Tuning.

My best so far is 382.11mph :eek: in a GTone, I got the speed last night, and the only pic I have is from my previous record (until tonight when I load it) its still 381.38mph. :cool:

I beleve I am the FIRST, in the GT4 online world to acheve this, (most likely the first period, but imposible to tell, but as for online, the next best was 379mph, as Ive seen so far)

Ohhhh yeah baby, on all the boards before me it was 379mph ALL over, I didnt crush the previous record, but I broke into 380mph, I think thats cool.

I dont know about topping the speed (Many have tried, and are trying right now) I could go faster if the end of the track wasnt stopping me, but there is nothing I think that can make the acceleration faster (The only reason 380 is posible to begin with. You have to be able to gain +120mph, inorder to get 380mph, and your acceleration would have to increase inorder to get more speed out of the same distance, and if you saw how fast the number go up, I dont see room for improvement.

the 382.11mph is from going backwards, the time doesnt stop, but the turn comes none the less, You have to go backwards around the turn and hit the NoS as your exiting the turn, By the time you get to the other side of the track you go no more NoS and you toped off at 380+mph. :cool:

You'll be waiting a LOOOOONG time as none of the GT series of games has ever, or will ever (to my knowledge) be released on any system other than the PS2.

BTW, I feel very pathetic, as my fastest top speed (so far) has only been 245mph in the Cadillac Cien. I have yet to try NOS though...
