some conv. don't look bad with a top down. Take the Audi A4 for example. Sweet little thing. Same thing for the TT which is derived from the Beetle.

But the Beetle really looks to me like a bad photochop job.

good thing what you think has no impact on VAG's corporate decisions. They made a ton of cash with this car, and they are poised to make even more in the coming years with the conv.

I actually do not care for those cars personally, but there is no denying the success.

that's tough to say, what the best looking car of all times is. BEcause of the different eras and styles, it's hard to compare. I think the latest Porsche is absolutely flawless. Then again, there are a bunch of Ferraris that are close to perfection from a design stand point. And how not to think that a Mercedes Gull wings is not to die for?

The Chevy Avalanche is ugly. And even though it's real fast (fastest 0-60 under 20K) the Dodge Neon SRT-4 has to be the ugliest around. And the Aztek (with a K) is not that bad. It's better now than it used to be.

Sorry man, but I have to totally disagree with you. The two ugliest cars are the Avalanche and SRT-4, which are both American. Some of the best looking cars are Japanese. See: Celica, RSX, Accord, 2004 Prius, 2004 Camry Solara, the list goes on and on.

Alright, the Mitsubishi Eclipse looks real cool. The Lancer Evo looks downright mean (which is cool). The Hyundai Tiburon these days looks nice. And have you seen the 2004 Toyota Camry Solara? That thing has the best face on the front of any car I think I've ever seen. The front is Lexus ES and the back is Lexus SC 430.

I think the PT Cruiser looks good. And the Aztec is not as bad as the Chevrolet Avalanche. Your right about the Festiva, but almost all cars from the early 90's were ugly compared to today's cars.

Yeah if you've never really tried anything it's hard to form an opinion on it unless you've never had any interest in the subject. If you haven't then that's fine but you're really missing out on a style. It's not about hey I have an old car. It's more like, 'hey, this car was cruising around before I was even born. It's got a lot of history behind and I'm driving a piece of that history.'

That's why I love corvettes so much. They're classier than mustangs and f-bodies. They're not your typical teenage punk street race cars. They're more refined, more expensive (thus making it more for the big boys), and they have such a strong and incredibly long history.

If you're a performance enthusiast, and not just a person who like luxury cars, there's no real reason for you to hate on a 454 Big Block with heads, huge NASTY cam that barely lets your car idle, headers/full exhaust and HUGE rear tires. The sound of that while you're stopped at a stoplight and the whole car is shaking and vibrating is just AMAZING. You feel the power at 0 speed unlike most cars today that are a lot smoother and deaden out any outside sound.

I do agree the that Pontiac Aztek is disgustingly ugly, but then again it doesnt require $600K and a five year waiting list. Or, as the SSR goes, well, thats just ugly. I will repeat, the Enzo is expensive, ugly, and sounds incredibly terrible too.

Yeah i guess, now that i think of it, i don't like the enzo too much. But! It costs 640k! Not too good on looks either. But i do like the ssr, it got a little retro on trying to bring the 50's look back, but i still like it.

I can't say what the ugliest car is, but my least favorite is the Nissan Xtera. Getting into that SUV is like trying to fit inside a matchbox car. SUVs are supposed to be road hoggin', gas guzzlin', grizzley's of the road, Not a Eurapean compact.

The Murano looks cool as hell!

The Chevy Avalanche is ugly. And even though it's real fast (fastest 0-60 under 20K) the Dodge Neon SRT-4 has to be the ugliest around. And the Aztek (with a K) is not that bad. It's better now than it used to be.

You gotta be kidding. You must own one of those cars then because they are both ugly as hell. I hate the newer Nissan's. They used to be a lot better looking 3 years ago. It's like they took every single concept car that got good consumer responses from auto shows and then shoved them into dealer showrooms. I mean the Maurano isn't even an SUV. It's more of a wagon really. Can't go for shit offroad. Why even buy an SUV? My neighbor has one and he thinks it's so much better than my 4Runner. Stupid pussy SUV i still don't think it's that much faster than my 4Runner. The inside of the Maurano looks stupid. The dash is made up of nothinng g but hard plastics. The doors and seats feel cheap. They use better materials in Carolla's.

As for the Aztek, you are nuts if you think it's remotely good lookking. GM took a risk with that car and they lost BIG TIME. No one buy's them and they are being discontinued by 05. In fact they have already stopped making them. Good ridence.

Avalanche... i used to not like how they look either but they grew on me. Put some 20's on that and it looks tiiite. With or without the body cladding.

Alright, the Mitsubishi Eclipse looks real cool. The Lancer Evo looks downright mean (which is cool). The Hyundai Tiburon these days looks nice. And have you seen the 2004 Toyota Camry Solara? That thing has the best face on the front of any car I think I've ever seen. The front is Lexus ES and the back is Lexus SC 430.

but there are some cool looking american cars like the old corvettes, and the cobra, and aisia makes some cool cars like the supra, rx7 and evo (especially the old ones)
but id have to say the new mustangs, newer camaros, and the subaru outbacks are the ugliest. id say the best looking cars are the porsche 550, the sl 65 and the audi sport quattro.
