This can include regular season and postseason games, I think my list is definitely full of action packed games, and nail biters, so heres my list.

#5. New England Patriots 32 Vs. Carolina Panthers 29 (2003 - Superbowl)

- Very, very exciting game, my favorite Superbowl in the past 10 years. Panthers against the Rams the week before was damn good too, a very exciting postseason with the Panthers.

#4. Pittsburgh Steelers 34 Vs. Atlanta Falcons 34 (2002 - Week 10)

- Even if I didnt see the Steelers win, it was still a nail biting game, with a nail biting finish. Steelers lead by 10 at the half, and the Falcons score 17 points in the 4th, un-freaking-real. Tommy Maddox threw for 473 yards, 4 TD's and 1 interception, his best game of his NFL career. The last play of the game Plaxico caught a pass about 2 yards from the endzone, very, very dramatic finish. Probably the most exciting Pittsburgh game since 2002.

#3. San Francisco 49ers 39 Vs. New York Giants 38 (2002 - Wild Card)

- Talk about even as it can be,

Kerry Collins 29-43 for 342 yards, 4 TDs 1 INT
Jeff Garcia 27-44 for 331 yards, 3 TDs 1 INT

Amani Toomer, 8 receptions for 136 yards, 3 TDs
Terrell Owens, 9 receptions for 177 yards, 2 TDs

Not to mention, it had the controversial play of the year probably, it was probably the best wild card game I've seen in a long time.

#2. Philadelphia Eagles 20 Vs. Green Bay Packers 17 (2003 - Divisional Playoff)

- Ohh how about that Packer defense? Just kidding, it was a really great game, there were times I thought the Packers were going to do it, cant remember if it was 4th and 26 or 27th, which ever it was, it was definitely a nail biter, and one of the best, exciting divisional game from 2002-2005.

#1. Pittsburgh Steelers 36 Vs. Cleveland Browns 33 (2002 - Wild Card)

- Wow, what a game. So much to say about this. Lets start with the last thing I wanted to see was to witness the Steelers bitter rivals the Browns defeat the Steelers at home in a playoff game, from the looks of it at the half, thats what it look liked. At the begining of the 3rd, the score was the Browns - 24, Steelers - 3, until Tommy Maddox hit a 6 yard pass to Burress to make it 24-10, still, very bad odds to came back from, especially when the beginning of the 4th starts out 24-10. To make matters worse, another field goal makes the game 27-10, I think I'm probably throwing shit by now, until Maddox threw a 3 yard pass to Jeremy Tuuuman to make it 27-17, and what do you know, the Browns score another TD, failing the 2 pt conversion, making it 33-17. Until the TD pass to Hines Ward and a 3 yard run by Fu to put the nail in the coffin. Last play of the game Dennis Northcutt struggled to get out of bounce by the time the clock ran out for a field goal, he was unsuccessful and the game was over. The Steelers scored 22 points in the 4th quarter to come back and add another win against the Cleveland Browns.

I wouldnt go far as to saying it was an exciting game for Steeler fans, but it was definitely my favorite game over the past 3 years, one being it was the Steelers, two being it was the Steelers Vs. Browns, three being a playoff game, and four, a miraculous comeback to win the game for Pittsburgh.

Yea, Green Bay won some games too in the playoffs before. I guess it is a great game because Minnesota actually won something in the playoffs.

Please children don't turn this into another Vikings-Packers thread.

My top game would be Seattle-Green Bay, when it went into double-OT.

That's probably my top NFL game period.

I agree it's definitely a top game even though my team lost. It was close for the entire game with each team battling big time with scoring points. 4th and 26 will always be there in my mind. It was almost surreal at the time it happened. It happened so fast and without any pause because of the no huddle offense. Unbelievable. I just dropped to the ground when it happened and I just knew they weren't going to win after that. :thud:. I wasn't really pissed after the game, I was just shocked and bewildered. It took a few days for it to sink in. I mean, 4th and FUCKING 26!! A team will do that 1 in about 50 times with how many d-backs they had on the field.

I'm a biased Colts fan so I would have to say 2003-2004 season

Colts versus Buccaneers

With less than five minutes left the Colts scored 3 Touch downs in the final minutes and recovered Onside kicks to send it into over time where Vanderjagt scored the winning field goal. I went to sleep cause it was late. Boy was I suprised when I woke up.

Week 5: Colts stun the Bucs winning 38-35 in overtime
Week 5: Colts stun the Bucs winning 38-35 in overtime

It was a game, for the Colts, in which almost everything that could go wrong, did go wrong - until late in the fourth quarter. What the Colts lacked in finesse they made up for in heart as they overcame a 21-point deficit - twice, to tie the game and send it into overtime where an unbelieveable turn of events led to a win.

Mistakes, penalties and breakdowns plagued the Colts throughout the first half. After the first quarter, the Bucs led 14-0 and in the second quarter they added another seven points.

The Colts finally scored in the third quarter on a 37-yard Peyton Manning to Marvin Harrison pass.

Going into the fourth quarter, Tampa led 28-7. The Colts' Ricky Williams scored a touchdown early in the quarter but then, when a pass by Manning was intercepted by Ronde Barber and returned for a touchdown, the Colts looked doomed. With four minutes left in the game, the score was 35-14. No team in NFL history had ever won a game after being behind by 21 points with four minutes left.

Beginning an amazing series of events, Brad Pyatt returned a kickoff 90 yards, setting up a touchdown run by James Mungro. Idrees Bashir came down with the onside kick and, six plays later, Manning threw a touchdown pass to Harrison. After the Colts defense held the Bucs, Manning threw a 52-yard strike to Harrison, setting up a 1-yard touchdown run by Williams. The game was tied at 35 with 26 second left. In overtime, the Bucs stalled and the Colts took over, marching the ball down the field to give Mike Vanderjagt a chance to win the game with a 40-yard field goal. He missed. But the referees, who had been assessing penalties all night, called Tampa's Simeon Rice for "leaping", giving Vanderjagt another chance. His kick was deflected, hit the right upright and banked through. The victory gave the Colts their first 5-0 start since 1977 and left the Buccaneers, whose league-best defense had allowed 35 second-half points to be scored, stunned.

Holy shit I forgot about that game. That's definitely way up on my list too. I also remember going to bed early thinking that the Bucs had it made. When I heard the final score on the radio when I woke up the next morning, I was shocked and awed. I thought it was a dream.

The Bengals Cheifs game in 2003. I was there and it was the most energetic asweome experience ever. Chad Johnson said they would win and guess what. they beat the at that time 8-0 Cheifs. This really got cincinnati back into the football competition.
