in which sport do you think the best fights break out?...

i would say basketball cause they have no equipment on and they just go crazy and don't give a fuck about suspensions or fines
the NBA always has some great fights during each season
it seems the most exciting to me...baseball comes close though

Don't be stupid. It's hockey. There's no other sport where you can punch somewhere square in the face and only have to sit out for 5 minutes.

Although they don't happen much, I think baseball has the best fights right after a batter gets hits by the pitcher. They are great because the batter charges the mound, and usually both benches empty and lead to a huge brawl with the whole teams fighting.

Yes they are fun to watch but they suck because the players get suspended. Like the red sox and devil rays brawl last week, 6 players and coaches got suspended.

watching 2 guys fight with a shitload of padding on ice skates is kinda too gay for me :shuffle:

You'd rather watch somebody throw a punch and miss and get suspended for 3 games in baseball?

The only sport with better fighting than hockey is soccer, and I mean in the stands, not on the field. You wouldn't want to be stuck between two fat 40 year old drunk Dutch men when an argument breaks out.

I have first hand expirence Of NBA fights cause I was there when The pacers and pistons brawl happened.

This is my logic. You have stadiums filled with tens of thousands of peolple. Probabbly have about 5 guards per level or something. and there is ABSOLUTLEY no Baricade between the stands and the court. So Joe Schmao Could just run onto the court. Basket ball is really the only sport where there is no baricade between the playing field.

Football A giant wall Hockey a Giant plexiglass wall. Soccer Giant wall. Baseball a giant wall. most sports have walls seperating them from the fans.

The NBA does not HAVE the best fights but the NBA has the Possibility for the best brawls because of bad secruity.

Hocky has a lot of fights, but they got all the padding on and theyre on skates. It always ends up with one guy falling down and covering up while the other unsuccessfully attempts to punch him while hes down. Then its broken up.

I voted basketball for one reason, the Pacers Pistons brawl. I still cant get over that punch by Jackson(or was it Oneil, think it was Jackson). That was incredible, the stupid mexicans come out onto the court like they wanna do soemthing, Artest defends himself preemptively and takes one of the dirtbags out, then right as the other one is getting up later on Jackson? comes running and doest that sliding punch that just destroys the fatass spic. That was incredible. Prob the greatest punch is sports history, be it boxing, UFC, or whatever. You act like a jackass youre gonna get jacked, thats the AMerican way, and those Mexicans learned our motto first hand(or fist) that day.

Indoor lacrosse (The NLL). Nothing beats a NLL fight. They actualy fight unlike basketball players who just slap eachother. Hockey fights are definitly second but I sometimes wonder if all of the fights in hockey are as good as we all think. Whenever I see a fight not in sports, someone always has a blood something or other. Every now and then you'll see someone bloody after a fight in hockey. Don't get my wrong, I love hockey and fights.

I say baseball, because they are they only ones that let the whole bench come out and go at it.............And for the record NONE of the guys in these sports can fight for shit.

I would have to say baseball...
I think the stupidest sport to fight in is football... They have helmets and pads on so the only fights that they really even do/have are verble fights.

By far it is hockey its a cool sport and you can beat a dudes a** and just get to take a much needed break. And its funny watch the little refs try and break it up

And when there is team fights with 3 refs o thats great

My favorite is when I see two players nagging eachother on during a faceoff and soon as the puck is dropped, so are the gloves. Big fan of seeing that.

Hockey's the best for fighting. Minor league hockey even moreso than the NHL. Those guys have nothing to live for and all they do is fight.
Baseball is good too. I was at a Braves game 5 years ago when Andres Galaraga charged the mound and nearly took the pitchers head off.

even though it rarely happens,i think football is the most potentialy dangerous place for a fight to break out. when else can two 6"8, 350lb guys have a chance to kill eachother, besides japan. look back when kyle turley raped the guy on the jets and threw his helmet into the crowd.

go to a football practice some day, fights break out all the time. Its pretty dangerous when someone grabs your facemask and just starts rippin in every which direction. Its also hilarious watchin ppl punch each other in the helmet or facemask...good way to break your hand. Most fights in football are just wrestling matches anyway, throwin the other guy to the ground and then holding him down.

I think that the best fights break out in hockey. Too bad that there is no NHL this season because i loved watching all of the intense hockey fights and games on T.V. I think that baseball fights can be pretty crazy at times also.

Im biased but I have to give Rugby League a mention as one of the best sports for a fight. The game originated in the early 1900's ,breaking away from the then amature code of Rugby Union to a professional modified version of the "rugby" Americans would be more familiar with.Although the sport has been cleaned up to a certain extent ,the "all in brawl" still occurs from time to time. Check out this link which is dedicated to the Era when violence was considered to be just a part of the game.

Hockey by far.. in basketball its boring, football i think it never happens, soccer...no, no other sport has good fights like hockey, in boxing three are fights but thats all that happens its never anything interesting or exciting. Its fun to see something not allowed to happen. rules were made to be broken and hockey is the perfect example
