NASCAR should allow auto maker such as Honda, Toyota and Nissan to enter their best stock cars into NASCAR races...I think the engineers, builders and racers supplied by these auto makers would give the American cars a run for their money.
The Japanese car makers have done very well in IRL and other race leagues.
(OF SUBJECT - Also, I would like to see Michael Schumacher race in NASCAR to see if he really is that good a driver.)

He's not, he just has a really good car doing most of the work :p

That will be interesting to see. Ask one of NBC Sport's or FOX Sport's experts on NASCAR (like Darrell Waltrip) to see what they think about this. I would love to see a Formula 1 driver try a stock car for a Watkins Glen or Infineon race sometime. Adrian Fernandez, a Mexican who mostly drove IRL cars, finished in the top 10 in a Busch series regular season race in Mexico City in March. Maybe somebody could Photoshop some Toyotas, Mazdas, or Audis to see what they may look like in NASCAR's Nextel Cup or Busch Series.

Foreign automakers won't cross over to NASCAR. It would be way to expensive and not worth it for them. Forgive the stereotype, but your average NASCAR fan like me is not going to be influenced to buy a foreign car.
