I've seen so many people talk about Top Gear and Jeremy Clarkson. I have to say I have a bit of heartburn with that show.

Ever since the 350Z was reviewed and placed on the uncool wall, I had to wonder. I can't remember if it was Richard or Jeremy that did the review. But whichever one it was totally ripped the car.

Now this alone would not be enough to give me heartburn. I mean, they test all kinds of cars and compared to a DB9 or a Vanquish... Well you get the idea.

But then Top Gear Magazine picks the 350Z as the car of the year and Jeremy presents the award to Nissan motor company in person?! Umm... How does that do for damaging the credibility of Top Gear?

You would expect a bit of consistancy.

when top gear tested the 350z it was a version that was designed for the south of france and wasnt very good

the uk spec car is much better

also the cool wall has no bearing on if a car is good or bad
it is totaly dependant on how cool a car is
and what we our selves may think is cool is infact not cool
the ferrari enzo is uncool in fact anything ferrari is uncool

as for the Ford GT being in the sub zero thats only ther because jeremy was trying to get ford to let him have one

How can that be possible. I saw the M3 vs S4 vid and they loved both of the cars?? That sounds a bit sketchy....And how is the M3 CLS seriously uncool!? Was this taken from the show, cause there are some great cars on the uncool list but the the Honda Civic Type R is on the cool list??

the reason that the m3 is on the uncool wall
is because quite simply people hate bmw drivers
and anyone driving a m3 quite simply looks a prat

am not saying that it isnt a good car but it is seriosly uncool

oh, then the wall has no basis....But why do people hate BMW divers so much. Yeah some can be dicks who buy an expencive car in their midlife crisis, but alot of us love cars and driving. Its a well bulit car, people just seem to rag on them alot.

the wall does have a basis

and the basis is the cool cars go on the cool side and the uncool on the uncool side

it is actually very hard to comprahend the logic in the cool wall but it does infact work

as for the people hateing bmw's
in the uk we just do its not the cars its the drivers

you will never see some one give way to a bmw or a porker

maybe coz ther german and we hate the nazi's i dont know am just guessing

the cool wall is pretty much only based on clarkson´s ideas. sometime they make sense, but if u haven´t seen the reasons why cars are cool/uncool u won´t understand most of them...

The cool wall on Top Gear is basically a joke. I saw them once put a car in the seriously uncool section just simply because a guy in the audience said he had one and it was really cool.

It's just a joke/laugh. Don't take it seriously.

Like Ray said the cool wall is there for fun more than anything, it actually means nothing. You could have the 2 other presenters saying a car is sub zero and all the audience agree but just because Clarkson is having a bad hair day he'll stick it in the seriously uncool part.

Topgear is a light hearted Car program, it's not supposed to be taken 100% serious.

Also Clarkson contradicts him self more than anyone else i have ever seen. One week he'll hate a car, then he'll say it's the best thing since sliced bread a few shows later.

He's also very biased towards European cars as you can tell. Richard Hammond bought a R/T 440 Charger and just because it was him that bought it clarkson hated it if i remember right.

Most of Clarksons oppinions are worthless.

Good show nonetheless.

Yeah I cant believe people take the cool wall seriously, half of the cars in the uncool section are there to take the piss.

If it was my cool wall though the 350Z would be in seriously uncool, its ugly and I dont like them.

Also the reason Ferraris are in the uncool section is not bcoz they dont like the cars, they love Ferraris its just that 90% of Ferrari owners have bought them to pose, they will probably never do more than 70mph in them, they just buy them so people think they are cool. Ferraris are in the uncool section bcoz Ferrari drivers are seriously uncool.... Most of them anyway.
