First off, Im in no way trying to be racist or start a racist thread. I just made an observation and posted it.

Is it just me, or are there way more white women in the WNBA than there are white men in the NBA? Maybe its just that there's more competition for white men since young black men pretty much grow up playing basketball in some way. Some teams dont even have white people on the roster, at least not actively on the bench or starting. And its not like there's no white players to get, look at college teams. They have alot of college teams that have maybe 1 black guy on the team. (though they tend to not be the best, they're not terrible)

Its gotten to the point where if you see a white guy on the court, you already know why he's in. A, to shoot 3 pointers. B..... well i could only come up with that. The best white player isnt even American (in my opinion the best white players are Nash, Nowitzki then Jason Williams)

And we all saw the dunk contest. Chris Anderson has hops, but he's still no competition at all.

I just get tired of seeing the same people all the time. When a black person complains there's not enough white people in something, you know its gotten bad.

TRUE! A lot of the best white dudes in the NBA (with any game now!) are European or from outside the U.S. as it is!!!!

Szczerbiak...well he was born in Spain. :eek:
etc....

Everyone of these dudes has some decent/good game in one way or another and more are coming(=IMPROVEMENT)! American white boyz gotta step up...
cause I can't name any better than Nash, Nowitski or Peja either!

The thing is, in America there's much more competition for places in good teams, especially since for a lot of poor youngsters it's a way of funding their education (right? I'm not american, but that's the way it works, isn't it?). So you have big competition among poor young men and a tall black guy will always beat a short white one. In Europe, on the other hand Basketball is mostly played in Eastern European countries where there hardly are any black people, so the few talented ones actually get to play and make it to the NBA.

We suck in basketball, but we've moved on to hockey/ping pong/roller jam/dog shows. Black people will soon invade and kick our ass's there. j/k

off topic: if i had a dollar for every time i heard the "black people have an extra tendon, and thats why they jump higher" story, or whatever it is, I'd be a millionaire. Alot of people just try and find ways to divert attention from the fact that some people just fucking suck.

Whites still make up most shotputters and other strength event field athletes, hockey players, wrestlers, and i believe powerlifters.

I personally don't mind the black domination in basketball. As long as Nowitzki is in the league, I'll be happy. GO MAVS

honestly I could care less what mans race is when he is on the field/competing in whatever sport he competes in........hell my favorite athlete right now in any sport is Jerome Bettis,who is a black man.

if someone is a true sports fan,they don't even think about the race of the athlete,they love the guy if he plays for their team and hate him if he plays for the other team!!!!!
