Limp Bizkit came out with a new CD on May 3rd...It wasn't promoted a lot so I know probably most of you don't know about it...I think it is good stuff, but make sure you don't pay too much for it (under 10$ is about right)...It's an EP and only has seven songs...the first three songs are AWESOME, but the next four are OK...they are supposed to be coming out with part two to this record later this year...
I know most people are gonna hate Limp no matter what, but they are one of my favorite bands (you obviously can't take them too seriously), and some of you might actually enjoy their music...give it a try...

Chocolate Starfish was a good album. I'm still mad at him for what he did to Behind Blue Eyes, though. They did a great job first, and completely fucked it in the ears in the middle with his "L I M P" bullshit. :banghead:
I'm thinking about picking this one up, though. I like what I hear.

You should really...I got mine at Target for under $10...I agree with you on Behind Blue Eyes though...infact, Results May Vary was a horrible CD...I think that Fred was influenced too much by the events of 9/11...he started to go soft at that point...but in this record they sound more like the good ol' days of 3 dollar bill y'all...

I like Limp Bizkit thou, their music is pretty good, but Fred......
If they got rid of him....and put in another singer, the band would totally own
I liked their old stuff (Chocolate Starfish) Results May Vary was meh
Havnt heard anythign from this album, but I did hear about it coming out, got flamed SOOOOO bad hahahaha
great! More shitty music in this country.

is Wes Craven (the guitarist with freaky eyes) back with them? Without him they're nothing (although I am just kidding, this honestly seems to be the sad reality seeing as how their popularity now can never measure up to the popularity they had with Wes)

You're not too good at life, huh?
Oh well...I also agree that Fred is an asshole...good call...but if you really think about it, what big rock band doesn't have an ego-maniac for a lead singer? (<---please don't take literally...I meant that there are other bands that are just as bad) There are bands out there that are the same way, but that doesn't mean you can't like their music...

i never liked limp bizikit but after listening to "the unquestionable truth" ther new EP i have a new respect for them. Im not saying im a fan but i do like all the songs on the new EP except for one but that song kinda keeps the flow of the cd going. So even though i dont like limp bizkit they did a good job with this ...it grew on me

I have decided to boycott rap/hip-hop all summer because I think it has all become the same shit...I can't listen to rap anymore...
So instead you are going to listen to some manufacturd "rock" music made by a bunch of fucking idiots who believe they are hardcore?
Face it, Limp Bizkit are shitty. Not because they are less talented than a tomato, but because they are just the average manufactured garbage.
Fred Durst even released his own celebrity sex tape, how fucking lame can you get.

How about we talk about a new cd from a band that doesn't suck, such as Dream Theater. Their new cd Octavarium (http://www.dreamtheater.net/news_dreamtheater.php#octavarium) is coming out June 7th.

^^Either that or you can get the fuck out of my thread...
Also, in regards to my boycot of rap and hip hop, at least Bizkit tried to reinvent themselves and do something new...whatever...

Reinvent themselves? I just watched the video on the webpage, hardly so...
Now they just make their videos seem like a "documentary" and "rare." Oh look, the bass player has a guitar with blue lights on it! How hardcore...
Limp Bizkit is still the same old stuff, smashing their heads up and down, dropping the odd F bomb when obviously it just makes their lyrics sound corny...
I am not defending mainstream rap here, but who are you to bash it?
EDIT: Hahaha, seeing Fred Durst smash his microphone into the ground at the end in his total angst just confirmed by entire point.

Sorry maybe I am blinded by my respect for this band...they are from Jacksonville, and I have practically grown up to their music...different strokes for different folks I guess...hey at least you didn't try and defend mainstream rap...I know you can feel me when I say that if I hear another song about bitches, or someone talking about how big the rims on their car are, I'm going to freak...

Man fuck Rollin...I think that Chocolate Starfish and Results May Vary were their worst records...I prefer three dollar bill yall and sginificant other...If anything, we all know that Fred cannot rap for shit...I just enjoy Limp for the way Borland shreds that fuckin guitar...I think that his guitar "speaks" louder than Fred's voice any day...I think Fred is tolerable though...sometimes he comes up with some clever shit...

That is some fucking talented poetry right there.
Rhyming "here" with "here". How do they do it?

I must say I've never been much of a fan...I picked up their last album because of Eat You Alive and was disapointed...I did happen along their new album, decided it was safer to pirate it :p , and was pleasantly suprised...it's nothing like I've ever heard them do before...Fred Durst's whining is gone...on another note however it doesn't really stand out...it's just generic 2005 nu metal...

Stupid fucking manufactured bollocks of music, with a big white wanker who seems to have somehow gotten it into his fat fucking head that he's black. Another stupid MTV band to b played beyond belief and pounded into idiot kids that "this music is cool, buy it!!!" and with the popularity gotten from this massive advertising campaign all provided by the record company and MTV, Fred Durst will be able to inflate his fuckin head a bit more.
All I can say to any Limp Bizkit fan or MTV listener for that matter is get away from it NOW!!!! Turn off MTV and go get sum decent underground music, dont listen to what you're bein told is cool, and dont be such a fuckin sheep.

I understand your point but because music is "mainstream" so to speak doesn't mean fuck all. Gee, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, AC DC and Jimi Hendrix are all pretty "mainstream", they are all awesome.

Seriously, every time I see Fred Durst, I want to immediately throw a chair at his baseball-cap-wearing bald head.
There is no way I will *ever* listen to Limp Bizkit voluntarily. They can lick the sweat off of my scrote. Just my two cents ;)

This album was barley promoted...nothing on the radio, almost nothing on the TV...Yes, LB has been heavily promoted by MTV/Radio for years, but they seemed to want to turn that shit around...By the way, I didn't listen to LB for the first time when I saw them on TRL...I grew up listening to their music here in Jacksonville when they were just a local band...I am not brainwashed, nor did I jump on the bandwagon...

Results May Very sucked. I thought is was downhill for Bizkit but:
I listened to the latest Limp Bizkit song "Excepting the Truth" and it was tight. Limp Bizkit went back to their roots. They sound more like Rage against the Machine to me. It sounds very good. I'm impressed.
