I notice that almost all the teams that are hated have been liked by many many people at one point or another. Except for some reason they fell from grace and then everyone says they suck.

Theres only two exceptions. The stupid Raiders; the Only NFL team that has crime related to it, despite whether they win or lose, on drugs or not on drugs, season after pointless season. Plus their uniforms are black and grey (pathetic) and everyone in the "Raider Nation" has been in jail/prison at one point or another.

The other exception? The Nebraska Cornhuskers! I wouldnt put Anything from Nebraska in the most hated of anything simply because the average joe from the other 49 states would simply say "The What Cornhuskers!?" They are probably the most Bland, non-offensive team ever to exist!* In addition, Nebraska ties its image so highly to how their college football team performs, it's simply madness. Every other state says "our college team won/lost Woop de freaking doo!" Nebraska... some people secretly die and become nonpersons if they lose, or happen to be exiled if not attending the game at Lincoln, rooting for Nebraska.

The only other thing I have to say is Go Red Sox! Way to beat the Yankees; THE most pathetic win/loss scenario imaginable in human history! :icon_rofl

*Not offense in terms of the game, geez!

Well, if that isn't the most generalized, provincial statements I've ever heard. How exactly are the Raiders any more involved with crime and drugs than any other team? Hell, what you just said fits the Ravens better than Oakland; they play in the murder capital of the country and their only good player suspended for selling drugs. But oh wait, you used their uniforms as an anemic argument against them, classy.

I'm by no means a Raider fan but that statement was just oblivious to the current conditions of major sports in America. If anything the 'Raider Nation', as they call them selves, are some of the more loyal fans in the NFL. Maybe they're not at the same level as Cleveland and Buffalo fans (Who have suffered enough yet half the city had a heart attack when they found out the Browns were moving a few years back) but they're certainly no Tennessee fans who more or less deserted their team this year.

It is not generalized. Unlike the Raiders, the Ravens dont have a fanbase which commits crime and somehow links it to the Ravens. Even if Atlanta has more crime than Oakland, at least ppl in ATL dont wear cheesy clothes with the team's name on it in the way Oakland people do! Lastly, I know that the Raider's jerseys are nothing more than thinly disguised gangsta clothing and despite what you said it Didn't play a role in my argument.

I don't care about loyalty that wasn't part of my argument. They are only loyal to that team because only the Raiders have gangsta-ness and chessy jersey's to puff up their image instead of the Regular NFL formula of having talented players based on a clean, non-felon fanbase.

Woohoo, second from the Yankees, the Steelers are one of the most common picks. Never really understood why so many people hate the Steelers, aside from Raven and Brown fans of course, but aside from Pittsburgh having its crazy, arrogant fans, is there a reason to hate the Steelers? Cant be the exposure they get, Roethlisberger is the only person the media talks about from the Steelers, who knows. Ahh, maybe it's the ole Kansas City Chiefs curse. It seems that aside from the Patriots, whenever a NFL team has a great season, they seem to be the most hated that year, everyone hated the Chiefs in the 2003, as do people hate the Steelers in 2004. But oh well, it's cool my favorite sports franchise of all time is the most hated :bang:

Lastly, I know that the Raider's jerseys are nothing more than thinly disguised gangsta clothing and despite what you said it Didn't play a role in my argument.

So, if it's not a generalized statement then you could take any of the 60,000 people at a Raiders game (Or anyone who calls themselves a fan) and one-hundred percent of the time they would be a convicted felon who just got done shooting up some heroin. Maybe you should take middle school English and reading-comprehension again. Not to be outdone by your first post you give the idea that you think Oakland is the only team to ever to have merchandise? Still not ending with that idiotic misconception you compare the oh so rarely combined colors of Black and Silver as some sign of gang attachment and you DID use those same uniforms as an argument, claiming that they are "pathetic".

I don't care about loyalty that wasn't part of my argument. They are only loyal to that team because only the Raiders have gangsta-ness and chessy jersey's to puff up their image instead of the Regular NFL formula of having talented players based on a clean, non-felon fanbase.

If you noticed the double spacing between the two paragraphs, you would have gathered that I was changing ideas. The first paragraph is relating to your argument (Using the term loosely), the second is an additive to the topic at hand. Outside of that glaring fault, you yet again return to the "all raider fanz r gangstas lol im like so creative !!!!" half-truth. Mind giving me an unfeigned reason why you think this besides a general stereotype against the Raiders? You think you can come up with real proof as to how or why the Raiders are so "gangsta" thus causing their "chessy (apparently)" image to get them one of the highest winning percentages in the history of the NFL? This is all besides the fact that you're completely ignoring every other city in the NFL, there's just as much, if not more, crime all over the country. Detroit and Atlanta's conditions I've seen first hand, Baltimore (Home of the Baltimore Ravens, get that?) and Washington have some of the highest murder and crime rates in America, and the two other teams in California are no better than Oakland. I love to argue with people but if I wanted this level of intellectuality stimulating conversation I’d spend more time on the ESPN message boards; come to think of it, you sound like you’d fit quite nicely with the bandwagon Chargers fans (If you can’t read that deeply into the previous statement: I’m not implying that you are currently or ever were a Chargers fan… the Chargers, they’re in San Diego).
