how do I open games downloaded from kazaa?

So I've downloaded a few japanese dating sim games from kazaa, but I don't know how to open them or play them from my computer. Can anyone give me instructions meant for a 2 year old, because I'm computer stupid? Please help me! I just love these games--they are too funny!:confused:

after you have completed the download... :
1) go to software and find your game
2) double click on it
3) you should get the check for virus screen (sometimes you'll have to wait for it) click ok
4) choose where you want to download it
5) after its done, go to that place (my computer, D, program files, etc..... or whatever you do)
6) do all the setups that you can find
7) click on the .exe file and hope for the best
8) play the game. if it doesnt work then you got screwed, it happens a lot on kazaa...

What I just want to know is why Simulations are getting so popluar, of course it may just be me and my non gamer ways... but fill me in oh a brief history o why the hell it's so damn popluar.

cause the hand drawn girls are lots prettier than anything the geeks that play them can possibly get...and the idea of a date!!! wow!!!! that is so foreign to them as well...

many thanks kanism for filling me in on this thing known as the dating sim. I guess that explains why all the other forums I go to, to talk to some friends of mine there are always those Dating sim threads... I was wondering what they were all about cause they really didn't tell me much when I asked "it's a game" and "I should we tell you, you stupid girl" is what I get most often... thanks for being one of the good ones

Kitty its not just boys that play those games either. I know alot of girls that play them. I think that they like the fact that the can control everything the people on the screen do.

well actually I didn't say anything about girls not playing them, hell I just played those ones on newgrounds. I was just asking what the hell it was all about cause no one would tell me that I asked... I think you read it wrong, or I read it wrong.... hmmmm
