View Full Version : Coach of the Year

StoryOfTheYear

Phoenix Suns Coach Mike D’Antoni has won the Red Auerbach Trophy as the NBA Coach of the Year for the 2004-05 season.

Personally, I thought it should have been Nate McMillan since he turned the Sonics around with basically the same roster as they had last season. George Karl did a nice job with the Nuggets too.

Who do you guys think should have won?..or do you agree with the choice?

Kevin Hench's article sums up pretty much why he shouldn't have won the award...

I think Karl, Carlisle and Skiles all did a better job. Specifically Karl and Carlisle.

Skiles shoulda won. The Bulls have sucked many a year, and we did get to the playoffs. Damn Mike D'Antoni!

So did the Suns, and they made the biggest turnaround.

Skiles deserved it too, though.
