How much does a ticket to the movies cost where you live.
For me it's $5.50 in the afternoon, $6.50 at night (for students)
That's American money too, I live close to the border for Canada and if I go up there it's about $10.00 Canadian... I think rought $6.50 American so they're pretty similar in prices.

While that is great, the best part of living in Vegas (or Nevada for that matter) is we pay no state tax. You have to love the tourists blowing all their money at the tables.:D

If those were the prices here I seriously would not go to the movies. Maybe to see LOTRs because they're long enough to feel like you get your money's worth. I'd just let Netflix meet all of my movie needs.

$6 even for matinee, $8.50 for evening. But if I go to the more expensive place, it's $8.50 all time. They have nicer cinemas tho.

Yeah there is also a nicer theater near my home and the majority of the time I go there...
They have big huge seats and its a bigger screen , better sound, more seats, more theaters, good snacks etc............
Its more expensive than the other one but its worth the money.....

Sweet! Someone else from Vegas! Yeah, I'd say your post just about nailed it for Vegas prices...except for the IMAX theater...I think that's like 12 bucks or something...and the Rancho Drive-In theater (have you been there anytime recently?) Yeah, but if you have your RebelCard, tickets are like $6.50.

Over here in a corner or Louisiana, USA, it's $5.00 for adult $3 for child. Now this isn't a bad deal, but the theatre was old when my parents went there, and they haven't changed a thing except the movie showings. The seats are horrible, the popcorn got my friend sick, and the rats have a kingdom of dung behind the curtains. But, it's the only place we got for another 55 miles, so I can't complain too much. But the movies are good, if they're not over 2 hours. :)

for me its like $3 for kids and $4.50 for teens, and $5.00 for adults, so i guess its a pretty good deal. i think it should be like a dollar more for each so they can actually make the theater nice with good seats instead of uncomfortable cushionless seats... but i guess that its cuz of all the shit moves comin out these days, and thats y i always go to the one about 20 miles away so im watchin a shit movie, at least im comfortable :)

18 £4
oh the fun
