i have been into jack johnson for a couple of years but his new cd tops them all. I love it. Nothing bad can be said about him. Awesome lyrics, badass guitar and his vocals i love.

The only song I've heard is that one where the video is all backwards. Drawing a blank on the name. It's not bad. Good chillax music. Not really into that stuff, but he's talelnted nonetheless.

*sidenote* He had to learn how to mouth the whole song in reverse.

That song would be "sitting, waiting, wishing". Pretty good song.

I remember I was at a video store and they were playing his album there. Wasn't paying much attention to it, but then again if it was really bad like some of the other music they play, I would've cringed more often.

Not my cup of tea, but I've listened to him and he's talented nonetheless.

I think he's awesome. He's getting me into Ben Harper and Donavon Frankenreiter aswell.

im going to see jack in berkeley in august, should be a pretty good show. tickets for it sold out in like 20 minutes, and they get up to about 300 bucks a pop on ebay for some shows.

also, in addition to his music, the guys a really good surfer. i think he won the triple cup, or maybe it was just some big amature comp. in hawaii, but anyway i know that he did surf pro until he had an accident and hit a pylon and almost died. hes put out a couple surf movies as well, which are really pretty good and i recommend them to anyone who likes surf documenteries. its been a long time since ive seen either of them (he has two), but i have the soundtrack for thicker than water and it was one of my favorite cds in a while.

He's good but not my thing. A little too cliched on the neo-hippy side.

Yeah Ben Harper discovered Jack Johnson, in the beginning he was just a surfer pickin' a guitar and now he, in my opinion, is one of the most talented acoustic players out there.
