Foo Fighters- In your Honor

I just recently picked this up and i must say it is probably one of the best albums in a while. June is a great month if your a music fan.

one of the best albums in a while...? uhh where are you at? lots of good albums have just been released......dream theater, system of a down, seether, mudvayne, static X.I didn't really enjoy the overall album of in your honor. The acoustic cd was disapointing and about half of the songs were good on the rock cd.

I think this album was just as lacking as One by One, although I like this style much better. The only decent songs on this album are DOA, Hell, The Last Song (debatable), Free Me, and The Deepest Blues are Black. Two of those are under 2 minutes long, and the rest are all around 4 minutes. In Your Honor is a decent song, but so poorly structured that it makes me want to puke. It has a great build, but when you get to the "climax", it just kinda stays there and it's not even really that great in the first place, then it ends like 20 seconds later. They could have turned that song into something special, but they totally ruined it. I dunno, I just have high expectations of Foo Fighters. I mean, after making an album like "The Colour and the Shape", it's really tough to follow up and make something anywhere near that quality. Oh well, I'll take 5 new songs on my playlist, but I'm ignoring the rest of this album.

Oh how I miss being able to give neg rep points to the dumb shits who talk about how Courtney killed Kurt and "Dave Growl", and give rep points to the guy who said that he's not a dog.

In Your Honor was a medicore album. They should have just ditched 1 song on their and put it all together, because evidently it would have all fit. It has a lot of great songs on their, some total catchly in-your-head-for-the-rest-of-the-day songs. Some of them are boring, but it's not as throw away os One by One was. I personally think the acoustic album better though.

And whoever was the douchebag who said the Seether album was better :icon_rofl ...no. But the only album that I personally I have liked that has came out this year that has been better was the Queens of the Stone Age. And it was better than In Your Honor.

Well if you like the new Foo Fighters, you should check out their album, "The Colour and the Shape". I think it's one of the best albums ever.
