The third album by the New Pornographers is due in August. The NPS which include Country rock singer Neko Case along with her pals from Vancouver have impressed hipsters across the land with their extremely upbeat, catchy, infectious, pop punk sound. Punk poseurs like Good Charlotte or even the highly overrated Green Day should take lessons from this band. AC Newman who shares singing duties with Neko Case also released a fabulous solo album last year called the Soft Wonder. The buzz about the NPs has been growing and a strong third album should propel this band to more success.
