Jonh Petrucci's New CD

If you know Dream Theater then you know John Petrucci. He's an amazing guitarist and I just found out that he released a solo album called Suspended Animation, anyone hear it yet? How is it?

Yea, I know of his solo work, but I have yet to hear it. I'll probably download it like MoDilly first before I buy it. On a side note, I recently got Dream Theater's new CD Octavarium, and it is amazing.

Yo, I just downloaded it too (I hope this doesn't start an argument about music downloading, I hate people who care so much). I think it's pretty damn good! It can be a it repetitive......well not really repetitive like he keeps playing the same thing, but repetitive like the longer songs go on and on for so long without any vocals and it gets kinda hard to follow after a while. Awesome album though. And I haven't heard Octovarium, it's good? Are they still playing with Myung on bass? He's pretty good.

EDIT: I love instrumental music. But this just isn't my style. Reminds me too much of Van Halen *shivers*. Thumbs down from me. It's good music though I'll admit that.
