I play guitar and I want to record my music. What are some good free programs to record with besides audacity? Also, what is a good site to host my music at? Thanks

One program I found that I like is called Kristal. Just search for it on google and you should find it.
For your hosting questions, go here (http://forum.ebaumsworld.com/showthread.php?t=43625).

Yeah you need a mic to work it. They're cheap like $10 at staples or something. I use audacity to record some of my music, then I host it on putfile.com. Really straightforward and easy for the most part.

you can use a mic, but i reccomend going through the line in. i put mine through an effects pedal into the line in and it works great.

I was wondering what some of you used that were on the eBaum's musical talent CD. The quality was great for most of them.
