that was a nice piece from players of asheron's call to give to that young lady... but that's just the beauty of humanity. we strive to give a lending hand for those that are needed in times of great distress.... or we would rather ignore our pains to contribute to our wonderful society.

That was really sad. I just have one thing to say and I want to say up front that its not an insult or flaming or anything. But its seems kinda weird that holly is honored by having the community complete a quest for her in an rpg...touching though.

I was there (in asherons call)when that happend , i will try to dig out some links.

The support this got from the community was just wonderfull.

In the end they managed to get her char threw that quest and get her the global.

I was in Asheron's at the time as well.

I also did the quest as a tribute to her on a diffrent server.

Asheron's Call is an mmprog , and the flash explains quite well who Holly was.

No she wasn't really good. She played it casually cause it helped her forget she had cancer for short times.

The problem is the quest is a level 45+ quest. She was like level 30 or something. But the way Asheron's Call worked at the time is if you swear alliegence to someone then they get a XP bonus from what you earn.

So a bunch a swore to her after she died and got her to level 45...then they did the quest.

I really liked this flash because it incorporated 4 things that I love. Video Games, Cancer, Death, and Enya. I should be so lucky to have my family beat all my video games after I die. GOSH!!!!!!!!
