Why are emo kids spoiled?

5. they go out.

6. after two whole weeks of dating those bitter words protrude from the emo girls mouth: "I dont think we should date, its not you, it's me".

7. Emo guy makes up dumb msn name.

8. listens to my chemical romance and cries for a whole day

9. writes an acoustic song about his 2 week girlfriend

10. slits wrists.

And the cycle starts again.

Why do they all have a 500$ digital camera that they use to take "mirror pictures" with. It is really annoying.

If anybody should be depressed it SHOULDNT be emo kids. Half of them are rich then they cry about how life is bitter. I can't even afford a new skateboard, so quit crying you stupid slitter.

i dont think its just 'emo' people, because my friends who are 'gothic' are the ones doing the 'mirror pictures' and all the other shit. the only bit that pisses me off truly is the whole being depressed over some asshole they met on the internet-its the internet, it never meant a thing, nobody cares.

Emos are just attention whores. They make themselves seem like the ones who suffer the most, that the world is always unfair (well, yes, the world is unfair, but not always) and that everything is screwed up. :( Fucking bitch.

They just like to be sad because they aren't able to admit that they suck at life. :( So, in compensation they call everyone else's attention to themselves to feel better, but they are still sad. :( And if they ever get a girlfriend/boyfriend, they will be happy while it lasts, but once it is over, it's the worst feeling of the world and it's so hard that they can do other than write songs about how it was while they were dating, but it's so sad now. :(

Yes, I know it's hard to lose a girlfriend, but not to be depressed all your life. However, they feel that no one hears them so they whine and whine to call the attention on themselves just to say: "everything is so bitter and sad". :(

And the best way to go through that depression is by slitting your wrists, you know it release the pain. Because life's sad. :( Fucking attention whore, get a job or a hobby.

First of all. "Emo" kids do not listen to My Chemical Romance. If they do, they are poseurs.

Secondly, Not all of us slit our wrists and are whiny crybabies.
I happen to enjoy the Emo style and the Emo music. But I'm also a metalhead and I like some R&B. Along with some Rap.
I express my feelings more openly and I'm not ashamed of crying over things.
But I don't cry excessantly.

I *have* written songs for Girls (LOL)
but that was because I was an immature obsessed dumbass in puppy-love Land. *Not because they dumped me.*
(I think most of my brethren have done it at least once in their life.)
But it is true, a lot of us *Are* attention whores. But slitting your wrists is a stupid way to get it.
Writing songs in a notebook is O.K. because it gets out trapped emotions.
So yeah, Don't diss the entire "Emo" community... All of the pop-ified bands you hear on MTV aren't even close to True Emo.
Damn Posuers ruined the uniqueness of being "Emotional".
