For me it ain't worth the money for Ozzfest anymore. Tickets are retardedly expensive and there's only like 3 bands I actually like. Maybe like 4 years ago I should've gone.

i went and i had a great time iron maiden and sabbath were amazing in flames although thier old stuff is still my favorite music i am ashamed to have them as my name they have gone down hill after clayman :banghead: and for the guy that said check out bury the dead that was the worst band on the 2nd stage imo. the guy was playing a good charlote prs what more can i say but will smith did come on stage during thier set i still dont know why. arch enemy got jiped so bad they were suposed to go on at 920am thats the whole reason i was going early but it turns out they went on at 9 so no one got to see them but all and all it was a good day

Yeah, I'm going to see them August 2nd at Germain in Columbus. I think they've got a pretty good line up this year, I'm most pumped to see Iron Maiden though.

i dont know i guess at different places it depends on ticket prices because i got my tickets for free but the seats i had were on the lawn and u could buy them for 30$ good deal for a full day of music but food and drinks if where ur money goes

i went to the first show in mansfield ma :) had a hell of a time, bury your dead was awesome, mastadon was plain good, killswitch engage owned, rob zombie played the old stuff... classics, iron maiden was awesome and sabbath just made my life

I went to the 30th... Loved most of it, there was some that sucked, Ozzfest isn't going downhill at all, its going up hill (or at least staying the same), its just that its gotten too popular, i guess, for lack of a better word. So it's become over-rated, and people start complaining about it. Just enjoy it and listen to the music, mosh when your in the mood, and you'll have a great time (I did) ... Hell, I didn't even let Wicked Wisdom ruin my ozzfest :)

My brother is going to it on the 6th, in Minneapolis. My parents told him 2 months ago he wasn't allowed. He got his tickets anyway and is going with like 5 friends. They keep threatening to kick him out of the house now. he's 17, graduated and has wanted to move out since like May so it's not really a punishment.

I haven't really heard any of the other bands, but I would fucking love to see Maiden, Trivium, Soilwork and In Flames. I thought Children of Bodom were playing too?

HAHAHAHAHAHA. The only band near "hardcore" on Ozzfest is Bury Your Dead. The rest of the bands on the second stage are either metalcore or nu-metal. Learn about hardcore before making yourself look like a dumbass. Listen to Bane, Comeback Kid, Champion, or Casey Jones; those are a few good hardcore bands. Sorry to let you know As I Lay Dying and the Black Dahlia Murder aren't hardcore.

P.S. Ateryu is just as fucking bad as Slipknot and Linkin Park.

i went to the darien lake show. pretty sweet. check out trivium and soilwork at the 2nd stage. sabbath and maiden were amazing. mudvayne was good. the food lines were long and shit was expensive
