How do you post a pic in a thread?

I know I should know this but I have never really been told. All I need is a simple explination I already know how to upload them onto the internet.

i am doing this becuz i was you once. i was a noob that came here and didnt know anything. well you can do what i do now. that is get the picture and save it to your computer. then go to www.imageshack.us (u might need to look that up but just search yahoo for image shack and u will find it) then u browse the picture and it will then show u all this stuff like u can get the link to the pic or it will say sumting like "for forums" use either the forums one or the link to the pic. if that is too confusing(which i bet it is) just ask me for help.
