Speaking of kickbacks, two Halliburton executives recieved $6 million in kickbacks from a Kuwaiti company in exchange for contracts to supply US troops in Iraq. LINK (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4036674/)
This is not connected to Halliburton gouging the US for gasoline trucked in from Kuwait. It's a new and separate crime.
Maybe they figured since they were given the billions in contracts without competitive bidding they were free to loot and steal as they please.
If Halliburton was connected to someone high in the Bush administration I'd assume there was some nefarious scheming going on......
Oh wait, I forgot. They are.

Well it sounds like they need to go to jail.
Anyway, did anyone read my link? It is a list of countries that bought millions-billions of $ of oil from saddam during the sanctions in violation of it. Every country listed was against us invading Iraq. Big surprise, France, China, Russia, etc are on that list.

Sorry Shade but unfortunately some people dont know how to deal with facts, so they will just ignore them.
I read the link though, and it confirms some rumors and speculation that I have heard.

I believe it. In specific i remember hearing that Russia was planning on using Iraqi technology to develop the Cacaucus regions oil potential. Still you fail to see any connection between oil and US involvement in Iraq i guess only the anti-war countries have greedy leaders.

I've been saying since before the war that most nations who were against the war opposed it because of their financial dealings with Iraq. Just because I no longer believe the war was necessary doesn't change that.
