Just saw the video...his face HAS to be disfigured after that...As for it being voluntary, notice how the kid just walks away, without even worrying about his victim...I'm guessing the kids had a fight and the other one lost...I personally think this video should be taken off, though, until we find out if the kid died or not (I mean, you could see the cement dust off)...but thats just my opinion...

it was voluntary, you can see the kid left his arms back for the other kid to easily grab them. And that wasn't cement dust, that was from the lights. If the cement made a puff of dust like that, I dont think he'd have much of a head left at all.
And I'm sure he lived if he wasn't even knocked out or anything. No doubt broke some stuff in his face and is gonna be disfigured for life though.

and for whoever asked up there: yes if you got curbstomped like in american history x there is a good possibility that you would die. Reason being, that if you made someone bite a curb and then stomped them right where the curb is you would probably be stomping somewhere close to the part of the spine that connects to the skull or whatever......... there is a good possibility that you would do more damage to that part of your head than anything else, that's what would kill you...... the severing of your brian stem. that's why you can't punch in the back of the head in ufc/pride etc.

I don't want to watch it again but didn't it kinda look like it wasn't his head but his upper chest that was kicked? I also don't know if it was voluntary or not. I can't imagine it being voluntary and then the guy walking away without making sure he was okay, but then again he did let him hold his arms. Something is definately up with it. I agree with whoever said it should be removed until it is known the backstory.

if it was backyard wrestling (which i think it was because they always use those light tubes) than its prob real because after a while of getting flipped through burning tables and getting whacked in the head with lightbulbs i think the kids would not notice what they are doing and try something like that. I saw the tapes of backyard wrestling and those kids will do stuff like this

It is not a real "curb stomp" or "curbie" or "smiley". A true smiley is with the persons upper pallet [ teeth ] resting on the grew, having their mouth open, and something stomping on the back of their hand. This generally kills the person almost instantly. This was a lesser form of it, but none the less, it was real. These kids are a bunch of fucking idiots, and I just wanna tear the kid apart that did it, with his red shirt and bandana walking off all big after. Fuckin white-trash kids, no doubt.

i don't know about anyone else, but i regretted clicking this one as soon as i saw what it was about - about half a second into the vid. i've felt sick since - even if it was staged - it is completely disgusting that people can do things like this to each other. I've seen the video of one of the first beheadings in Iraq, and i didn't feel this sick (and i have a pretty strong stomach!). At least the Iraqis have a good excuse - being in a wartorn country and all, not asking for americans for help..and so on. these little punks were probably fighting over something stupid and that kid got the really short end of the stick on whatever happened before the vid. I'd love to find the red shirt kid and give that back to him just so he could realize what the hell he just did. i don't care how much you hate someone - something like that is just wrong.
I also agree that the video should be pulled from the site too - i can see some dumbass kid doing this to someone else and really hurting them/killing them.

They aren't even doing this on a curb. They're doing it on the sidewalk. They have fluorescent tubes set up on the sidewalk, and are smashing the guy in to them. Either way, dudes got a broken nose...and maybe some chipped teeth.
Edit: I also think it should be pulled. Think of all the millions of people who come here everyday. One of them are bound to try it.

Third - I found this backyard wrestling site - and this is apparently one of "D-Tripp"s signature moves. Check out the curbstomp video on here. (Done on soft foam in a wrestling ring).

I would assume they performed & filmed this with the light bulb & stuff to make it look more intense than just stomping someone into a foam wrestling ring.

It looks like the kid was knocked out, but the fact no one stopped him from setting up probably means it was fake, everyone knows what it can do. But the truth is, you can't tell if its fake, its not funny, and its something I would expect to find on Muchosucko or something. I say take it off.

What they were doing wasn't exactly a curb stomp. I mean, he slammed his face against the curb and all, but it wasn't a curbie/curbjob/curb stomp, whatever you want to call it.
With a real curbie, the person already has their face and teeth against the curb. This looks about as equivalent as someone running, tripping and falling face first into the curb. You see things like this all the time with homemade skate videos, or similar. Hell, the video with the kid falling out of the car and kissing the front of an oncoming car did more damage.
The most this kid could have gotten was a broken nose, lost teeth and lots of cuts from the tube. I'm sure he's perfectly alright, few stitches, less teeth, and that's it.
If he'd have done enough damage to kill him, you would have known. The fact that he was able to hold himself in the kneeling position as such and hold his mouth only shows that he wasn't too bad off. Keep it.... we've seen much worse.
Anyone remember the backyard wrestling duo that jumped off the house and damn near broke their backs? This isn't much worse than that one...

The content of this video isn't that awful as the beheading one, but what mainly shocks me is that people acts like: "ah, we've seen this already in some movie".

I don't think it's normal that in a civilized society, where people have guns, children go on shooting rampages in schools and everybody freaks out because of a pixelated nipple, people do and tape something like this and it gets put on a humour website. Second, have you ever seen dead weight before? There's no way in hell this kid is unconscious. If so, his arms would not have been behind him, the would have been on the ground, making the red shirt kid have to reach for both to pick them up.... both arms that is. Clearly, the video starts with the black shirt kid raising his arms behind him so the other kid can get ahold of them. Clearly...
And his head. His head was up...not slooped forward as it would have been had he been unconscious.

The light tube was on top of concrete. It wasn't a "curb", but there is still a little concrete barrier thing there. I think if they were gonna do it on grass they would just done it in the middle...but they are morons afterall.
It goes, road - concrete on road - little few inch concrete barrier - grass.

Who knows if the kid got hurt, since it was some "back yard wrestling" looking tape, but its a bullshit clip. Probably the kid got a little cut up by the light glass, but thats it. The bulb was probably even covered up anyways, and the kid probably didn't even have his head or anything smack concrete. All that kid has to look forward to after that clip is lung cancer down the line from the fucking white powder in the bulb. Its not real.

If you all go to the videos forum theres a thread titled about this video. It shows the entire thing and makes it very clear that the guy is doing it voluntarily. One of these kids will probably be paralyzed by the time they are 20.

Thebearrocks is completely right.. this video is in fact a fake.. or a 'stunt' thebearrocks posted a link to a backyard wrestling site and a wrestler who uses the curb stomp as a finishing move.. if you watch the video of one of his matches which i did he gets his legs into a submision hold and grabs his arms and stamps his head into the mat.. if you watch the curb stomp video on ebaumsworld you can see that he has his legs in a submission hold before kicking him in his head..
this video is a fake but the idiots were stupid enough to try it and that stupid imbocile will pay the price...

all they did was use those flat curbs ( i have them near my house) the curbs are just little things in the sides on the roads so that water can get to the sewer. its not like the foot high curbs that have a corner. then they put florescent light tubes in the groove where the water goes down.
