Help me reformat..

I need some help reformatting Windows XP Professional. I have my CD, I thought maybe I could just put the CD in and an option for reformatting would come up, but none did. So I tried to just use the option Install Windows XP, and it said the version I have now is higher then the CD, anyone know what I should do?

Your bios is not set up to boot from cd, Try to press F2, or F1, or DEL, and you should go to a setup screen. If none of those work, look for something that says "Press Key to go into setup". once your in set up, go to something called Boot Options, and then something called boot priority. and you will see the order your computer boots at. it should be

1. Floppy
2. Hard drive
3. Cd-Drive

So you have to change it to

1. Floppy Drive
2. Cd-drive
3. Hard drive

You press - to move it down, and + to move it up. Good luck.
