He's truly an idiot, even though Andy Reid asked him to leave... he's about to forfeit over 5 Million dollars this season now... If Reid suspends him he'll lose 2 Million from last years contract and the majority of this years...Owens is being very stupid.
What is TO trying to prove? I don't get it. He already signed a contract, nobody put a gun on his head and force him to sign it. If he is willing to sit out the season for somethting as dumb as that, than he is an idiot.

Nobody is talking about his skill. Everyone know his is in the top 3 or 5 reciever in the game. Hes a #1 fuckface though who is a selfish bastard. He is willing to jeopardize his team's success because hes not getting his money. Sorry buddy, but why didnt you think of that before you signed the contract. I was listening to ESPN Radio today, and Sean Salisbury made a good point. T.O. doesn't give a shit about his team, only himself. After the Superbowl, he didn't show remorse about the Eagles losing, instead, he raved about his toughness in recovering over the broken leg. He should be benched the rest of the year, make him be on special teams, and then they should trade him next year (if anyone will take him).

Did any of you guys catch the interview Chris Berman did with him during halftime of the Packers game? It was absolutely unbelievable how much of a dipshit this guy is, and his agent comes across as one of the biggest kiss-asses I've ever seen in my life.

T.O. said that Andy Reid disrespected him, and that nobody is allowed to do that. He told the head coach to shut up, and then has the nerve to go on t.v. and make it sound like he's being treated as some kind of delinquent. I don't care who you are, you don't ever tell the head coach to shut up, especially when he's trying to give you advice or talk to you about something. You may have more athletic ability compared to someone else, but that doesn't make you better than anyone else. The man is making $49 million dollars over 7 years; that's more money than most people will see in a lifetime, and all he's doing is catching a football. You can break it down to being in practice, learning plays, and difficult workouts, but the fact is he's only catching a football - something that plenty of other guys can do very well.

I get so pissed off whenever I hear more news about T.O. because to me he exemplifies everything that's wrong with sports. True, he's an incredible athlete and his skill is very good, but his attitude is pure dogshit. He needs to realize that he's a role model (not a very good one) to kids and teenagers everywhere, and by him treating his coach and teammates poorly lets kids know that it's ok to be uncooperative in order to get what you want. I would absolutely love it if he was let go and no team signed him again.

You're right; I didn't read the story carefully enough. Still, T.O. said that Reid disrespected him by doing so, and that's just a load of crap. I don't particularly like the Eagles, but Andy Reid is a good coach and doesn't deserve to have to put up with this crap.
