Firefox Help

Hey guys. My reqest is, that everytime i go to sites such as, Xanga.com, and the person there has music, firefox doesnt play it. A window tab pops us saying"You are missing certain plugins, click here to install them" I Click there, and install it manually because firefox cant do it automatically. The missing plugin is Quicktime player. After i download the Quicktime, and go back to xanga.com, the tab pops up AGAIN saying i need to install quicktime :banghead: , but when i use Internet Explorer, it works fine. My request is, can anyone please fine me a right version of quicktime that works with everything, if thats the problem. Or can you guys tell me what the problem is? This has been bothering me for quite come time now. Thanks :)

Also how do you play realplayer stuff, it never works with my firefox.

Hmmm, thnx for the response, but does anyone know how to fix the firefox problem , and not switch to a new internet browser?

download quicktime 7. cause when firefox updates it gives yous 6. so you ahve to manually download 7. try that and tell me if it works.

I downloaded quicktime 7, rebooted firefox, and yet, the "you are missing certain plugins" tab is still coming up. This is getting so annoying, I have no idea what to do now.

I have internet Explorer :shuffle: .

Open up quicktime.
Goto "edit"
Then "quicktime Preferences"
Then "mime settings"
Then check all the boxes under "audio"
