No clue, bro. They won't give any kind of clue what its going to be called, whats its going to be like, or how long its going to take to make it. They're stuck up :lol: But I'm sure it'll be worth the weight.

They're setting out a DVD as well. If I'm not mistaken, it most likely will be a concert DVD from the Lateralus tour. Can't flippin' wait.

I have heard rumors that the new release could be 2 cds, but the rumor has sort of dwindled down that it isnt very likely. I'm ready for a release date, damnit. But whatever the wait, it's worth it.

I have also read on the toolshed forums that a possible release date for the album could be 06/06/06. I forgot what the significance of that date was besides that there are three 6's. I didnt really want to believe it, but it seems kinda possible now that they are releasing the dvd tomorrow sort of as a hold-me-over, not saying the dvd won't be awesome.

Tool is not one of those bands that you can get away with saying their newest album sucked and gain street cred because youre down with the older stuff. TOOL is excellent all around do not consider yourself a tool FAN unless you understand and appreciate all the records. Only consider yourself a casual listener, that might be all you care to be. TOOL is beyond a band. TOOL is beyond music.

If you're a drummer like me, and you try to understand the shit that Danny comes up with, your mind will literally explode. I've listened to Lateralus since May of 2004 and the whole time I was trying to learn one, just one, god damn song off that album. Do NOT say I suck, you'll understand if you become a drummer and try to learn the stuff he plays.

He has timing like no other human being, he counts in a whole different time signature. I really cannot believe you just said Lateralus sucked when its quite possibly the most influential drumming album ever created.

Go die, you're not a true Tool fan if you consider Lateralus an album that sucks. I really......Ugh. I'm not even going to yell at you anymore.

I'm thinking the exact same thing. Blair didn't post anything about it on their official website and he said that if something happens, they'll know first.

I guess Suck was too strong of a word. Though I do like Lateralus I think the single (Schism) is extremely bad. That what ruined the whole album. After listing to it again, Lateralus Isn't that bad I still prefer Undertow and Ænima.
