Here are the guidelines to the game (without revealing the answer):

1) The name of the game is "Petals around the Rose"
2) The answer to every roll is either zero or an even number
3) The website will give the answer to every roll, the idea is to figure out how...

That was a awesome puzzle, it took me a hour to solve, I was writing down so many expressions to figure out the answer and then it hit me.... why would they call a game with die "Pedals around the rose"?

at first it bugged me for the first few go's, but after your comments i figured it out, its pretty easy and obvious once you've got it. and yeah think about the petals around the rose y'know?

Ok yea I have no clue on this one i have yet to figure it out. The puzzle is confusing for me but the even bigger thing that confuses me is what Rose Pedals has to do with dice. It just seems like a dumb puzzle but im just saying that because I cant figure it out. If anyone can give more hints that would be great.

i hated this!!! i worked at it for months so i eventually googled it. its the lamest puzzle in the world. ive solved very interesting puzzles in my time but the solution to this was just gay

I remember this from a year or 2 back. I literally tried it for days and days week on end. Hours every night and I never got it. But finally...

I get it... For those who think this is stupid this is a truely logical puzzle wich differs how people think.

Never seen him again after that post, though.
