John Mayer has surprised me

Holy shit! I just downloaded a John Mayer cover of Kid A, and it is one of the greatest songs I have ever heard. Has anybody else heard it?
If so, what is your opinion?

John Mayer is really talented and know alot about music, its a shame that people hear "Your Body Is A Wonderland" or "Daughters" and put him off. But yeah I heard the cover.

yeah he's on my Crossroads Guitar Festival dvd and he plays jimi hendrix's machine gun just the way stevie ray vaughn would've done it. its funny cause he plays this really badass stuff and then goes into daughters. he down plays his skills more than any guitarist i know.

Exactly, he went to Berklee College of Music (but dropped out) and he you can tell he listen to alot of jazz and has good taste in HipHop.

Yeah, im cool with John Mayer. I like people like him and John Legend. People just hear their songs and how soft they are, and toss em off as being pussy pop artists, but they are really talented. I mean The Beatles sang about light stuff too, but that doesnt mean they sucked ass.

I don't see the comparison with him and John Legend (I never really liked him).
