I haven't seen a thread about them, and I think they are one of the best bands from the sixties. My favorite song is World of Pain. It is simple, but I really like it for some reason.

What does everyone else think about them?

Cream is unreal. They did with three members what modern bands with more can't even come close to touching.

They are the epitome of the power trio.

i'm not sure if this was cream but crossroads is an awsome song. both bass and guitar are absolutely amazing. after seeing Concert for George and the Crossroads Guitar festival on dvd i think clapton is probably in the top 5 of guitarists.

I think Badge is my favorite. Of course, I love White Room too, and Sunshine of Your Love was a big hit back then.

Disreali Gears and Live Cream are some of the greatest albums in history. I won tickets to the reunion concert in London. 'Twas amazing, but still not the best concert I've seen. I've got some pics of it on my computer. I'll post them some time soon.

I haven't seen any threads about them, and I was listening to their CD so I decided to make a thread about them. This is the first classic band I have started a thread about, all the others have been new bands.

I just listened to World of Pain, I think Badge is better. :D

Hahaha, I'm just kidding, well not really, but anything Cream is good in my book.

It might be, I'm going to listen to Badge and see what I think. I just like the simplicity of World of Pain

Edit: I still prefer World of Pain to Badge and N.S.U., but they're all great.

Cream are/were amazing. Sunshine of your Love, Crossroads, White Room, Tales of Brave Ulysses, I Feel Free, and Badge are among my favorite. I have some 1968 (I believe, maybe earlier) BBC footage of them playing on some TV special (No live audience or anything), and they played Sunshine of Your Love, and Tales of Brave Ulysses. They were both phenominal.

Ginger Baker is a beast. In the video I have his eyes are wide open and he's got this weird grin on his face the whole time from all the speed he took back then.

oh yeah, that really means that he was overrated. Clapton is definetely in the top 5 guitarists out there, and he is certaintly not overrated.
