What bands would you love to see to come together again?
For me I would say The Libertines. I think they would have been one of the best British bands if they had stayed together.

I've always had a thing for Coal Chamber, one of the few bands I enjoy in that genre. It'd be cool to see them back together. Of course there's so many better bands, I just can't think, and I'm listening to Coal Chamber right now, so.....

Guns N' Roses. I mean the real Guns N' Roses, not this new makeshift band that Axl's put together. I wouldn't be bothered if Gilby Clarke came back instead of Izzy and I'd much rather have Matt Sorum instead of Steven Adler. Although I wouldn't want that to result in the breakup of Velvet Revolver.

GNR will never reunite. I read in an interview with Slash where he said itd take months and months of intense therapy just to get him and Axl to sit in the same room together for more than 10 minutes without blowing up.
The new GNR just plain sucks, Axl should have at least changed the name, its not GNR anymore... im just grateful VR has a good thing going for them right now, and the future looks bright for them.
as far as what band id like to see re-unite, probably David Lee Roth and Van Halen, the way i see it, when Roth left, the balls of the band went with him...

I'd love to see Guided by Voices get back together with the classic lineup including Bob Pollard and Tobin Sprout. Some on those Sprout songs are still my favorite.

Pink Floyd, they were amazing on Live 8, it would be grand if they got back together and toured again. I'd like to see Gn'R back together again too, if only huh?

Never a truer word spoken about VH.
I'd like to see Eddie Clark and Philthy back with Motorhead, and also UFO with Schenker, but after the last debacle, I doubt that'll ever happen.

Led Zeppelin. maybe with Jason Bonham as drummer. it will most likely never happen though. not with the name Led Zeppelin, at least.

You took the words right from my mouth Stupified. Creed sucked more than a 2 cent French whore.
As for a band I'd like to see reunite, I got to see Pink Floyd at Live 8, so I can already die happy, got to see Cream reunite, so that just adds to it, but I guess I'd like to see Jethro Tull with the original members. They aren't "broken up" but they don't have all the originals any more.

Yeah, Babyshambles will be really good, but it still isn't quite the same to me.
I doubt Nirvana will get together without Kurt.
I just hope that Doherty doesn't have his life end the same that Cobain's did.

Good call, man. I really liked Pavement, although I saw them live once and the sound was terrible and I think they were mostly drunk. Their albums were great though, especially Wowee Zowee.

that would be a little hard, due to Jimi Hendrix and Noel Redding are both dead. Billy Cox and Buddy Miles getting together would be pretty cool, though.

At the Drive-In
The Mars Volta sucks compared to At the Drive-In, they just need to reunite and stop the dumb side projects.
I heard that Cream (the gods of classic rock) are considering doing 3 shows in October in Madison Square Garden. If this is true, I will be killing someone for a ticket.
I'd also like to see Led Zeppelin come together, but I don't think it's gonna happen. Aside from having a dead drummer, I don't think they really like each other anymore.

You couldn't be more wrong. The Mars Volta are 10x better, at least.
Bands that should reunite:
Nirvana-Of course this can't happen, but if Kurt was alive today, it would be awsome.
Smashing Pumpkins-Plans for a reunion are in the works. I can't wait.
Joy Division-It might be kind of cool if Ian was still alive.
Alice In Chains-When they had Maynard James Keenan singing for them at that Tsunami Benefit Concert I was blown away. But also with them there are plans for a reunion.
"Smashing Pumpkins rocked! they lyrics were killer! they need to get back together.. and rumor has it they just might!!" from MyChemRomance77.
If you like My Chemical Romance then you don't understand the Smashing Pumpkins' lyrics.

Scott Wieman is good but no match for Axl when he was at his best.
And f*ck Izzy, the cunt never even spoke to his fans from what I've heard, I've never heard his voice he was like a mute. Gilby at least had a voice and from interviews seems like a really nice guy.
At least you said Matt Sorum instead of Steven Adler.

the original Lineup of the misfits
With Glen Danzig, Jerry Only, Doyle, and Robo.....or it doesn't even matter the drummer because they've had like 10 different drummers....so yeah just as long as its Danzig, Jerry, and doyle i'll be happy lol
Machines of Loving Grace
although I doubt anyone's heard of them... and Ugly Kid Joe. Despite thier too poppy first album, their following too were quite good.

Maynard has been with TOOL writing and recording their new album while he's been touring and playing with APC. Their album is expected to come out by the end of the year or the beginning of next year, but nobody really knows. TOOL likes to keep their release dates secret, so well probably find out the day before the album is to be released.
