Although last night's edition of WWE RAW definitely made the implication, there are presently no plans for Bret Hart to appear at Summerslam. In fact, as of yesterday, he had not even received an offer to appear.
While sources expect WWE to approach Bret Hart about the possibility this week, few are optimistic about a deal being reached. Bret Hart has been firm in his claims that he would never take part in a storyline - let alone one dealing with Montreal - so to get involved in the HBK-Hogan match would mean going back on his public word.
Hart is also scheduled for the NWA Legends Fanfest the day of the Summerslam PPV. WWE could bring him to the show via jet, but that remains unlikely.
