I'm not so sure that's legit... Check out the slanted ceiling and floor, that pic is most likely fake. If it wasn't USA I'd dismiss it without a thought.

Here we go again with all the people who say "this is fake" without first looking it up. People here can be ignorant at times.

Those pictures are real, and I've seen an entire special on this person on TV. It's a "pituitary gland tumor that excretes large amounts of growth hormone resulting in what doctors describe as acromegalic gigantism. Death is usually caused by heart complications that result from trying to maintain the very large circulation." If you had searched google for like 10 seconds, you would have found the same information. I believe the tallest man (recorded) that got this tumor was 8 feet 4 inches, before he died at the age of 22. One of these men that had this problem was like 6 feet tall by the end of elementary school. It actually is quite sad when you think about it.

On a side note, does this ring a bell about David and Goliath in the bible? Doctors say that if you hit your head the wrong way with this tumor growing in your pituitary gland, you can die. Seems to me David's giant had this problem, and probably got a rock in the right spot, causing him to collapse and die. Just thought this was interesting to mention...

no, hes worried because all people with this disorder die at a young age because they simply do not stop growing. eventually this messes up their organs which remain the same size i believe... or it somehow intereferes with something else that results in death :(
