It's a hotel, in fact a very nice one. But you loose grip to reality even by watching a documentary about it. :insane:

i heard from one of my friends dads who used to work for an oil company there that sheikh zayed (the guy who owns that) was riding camels just 20-30 years ago asking for food.

That may be a hotel, but the world's richest people are rich from oil. Although that's a little big to be a house, these oil-rich shieks do have enormous palaces.

Trump isn't one of the richest people in the world. Sure, he is one of the 540 (give or take a couple) billionaires in the world, but he only has about $2 billion, or about $4 billion if you listen to what he says. 2-4 billion is still a TON of money, but he isn't really in the "The richest people in the world" category.

we have oil in the us we can refine, why do we depend on those guys they wanna make it that high then lets refine our own stuff, instead of getting mad. and if the oil here isn't good then lets start inflating the prices of american stuff to them. or lower taxes

Some of the richest people are rich from oil. No need to call him a dumbass because he didn't specify which richest persons he was refering to. The richest people usually refer to billionaires, and there are quite a few of them.

The real reason is that demand keeps going up, even though prices are high. And OPEC is pissed about the Iraq war.

Gas is even worse here in Canada, at over $1.00 per litre average now. That equivilent to USD 3.11 per gallon.

Over in Europe it's 2 to 3 times as much as North America.

Want cheap gas? Move to Venezuela $0.12 per gallon!
