I just hope my aggies will do good this season. I'll run against the grain and say they make a BCS bowl.

In actuallity they'll probably make the Alamo or Holiday bowl.

btw Reggie McNeal is better than Vince Young, that overrated, overhyped QB for texas.

Omar Jacobs is better than both Reggie McNeal & Vince Young. And he is from an small scool in BG (Bowling Green,Oh).

yeah i can see what you mean. that's the sad thing nowadays. Kids in small colleges are sometimes the best, but they could be on not so great, or unheard of colleges. I mean, I've heard of BG, but their team is not too good, thus Omar Jacobs really isn't in the media that much.

That's what's happening to Vince Young at t.u. He's got the media on his side, so everyone thinks he's the best their is, and he'll win the Heisman and all. Not true. :shout:

The favorite for winning the National Title is USC. No not South Carolina.

Two-time defending national champion USC should be three-time defending national champion USC at this time next year. A threepeat would be the first by anyone since the Associated Press started ranking teams in 1936. The Trojans haven’t lost a football game since dropping a three-overtime marathon to California in 2003. They have been victorious in 33 of their last 34 outings.

Darkhorse: Louisville:This isn’t exactly a news flash, but had the Cardinals changed their conference affiliation a year earlier than scheduled, they would be reigning Big East champions. And they would be repeating in 2005. Quarterback Stefan LeFors, the 2004 Conference USA co-Offensive Player of the Year, is gone, but Brian Brohm, the No. 1 quarterback recruit coming out of high school in ’04, is taking over. Coach Bobby Petrino made sure Brohm got lots of real-game reps last season, and the youngster came through with 66-of-98 for six touchdowns and a healthy 8.4 yards per attempt. Brohm is ready.

Heisman canidates:

Matt Leinart qb USC

Reggie Bush rb USC

Adrian Peterson Rb Oklahoma

Chris Leak QB Florida

Ted Ginn. jr OSU wr/kr/pr/RB

Darkhorses for the heisman

Omar Jacobs QB Bowling Green

DeAnglo Williams RB of Memphis.

Calvin Johnson WR Georgia Tech.

Go Gators.
