The long wait is almost over. Time to push baseball off Sportcenter's main stage and start hittin some fools!
Im from Gainesville FL, so Im Florida Gators all the way. We are going to have a great year under Urban Meyer, laying waste to all those foolish enough to resist. We get some revenge on Tennessee, and I hear that FSU will be fielding a mens team this year, so they are going down again. too! :bang:
Does anybody else like the college game more than the pros?

College games are more fun to me because I go to almost all of my team's games (I go to Ohio State...GO BUCKS!), and the players play because they want to, not because they are getting paid to (even though that's their ultimate goal).

My favorite pro team is the Denver Broncos...they probably aren't going to do too well this year, so I'm basically rooting for the Buckeyes.

I can't wait to see Glen Mason and the mighty gophers. They've been a joke since I've been alive but I always like watching them more than the pro's. I think this will be the year!

and for the Gopher fan... Gophers will beat up by the lil teams, compete but always lose against the top teams, then fade in the end of the summer.

Im a texas fan, ranked #2 and a Heisman candidate at QB...gotta love the chances :)

Nah, brother! We got Urban Meyer, a sweet new 5 WR spead offense, and and Deshawn Wynn can "git-r-dun" on the ground. The only prob is we gotta get win the toughest conference in Div1.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

PIG SOOIE

Yeah, I'm a Razorback fan. Granted, they're not that good, but nothing beats going to Fayetteville with my dad on Sunday to watch those hogs. It's gonna be different watching the Razorbacks without number 9 (Matt Jones) at QB. However, we have a really great WR in Marcus Monk (So.) and a stellar Fullback in Peyton Hillis (So.), so hopefully we can get 6-7 wins this year.

It's funny how my favorite sport is College football, and my least favorite is the NFL. NFL sucks ASS. buncha overpayed dipshits.

I just hope Texas A&M can win the big XII this year. Herbstreit predicted an A&M Big XII title.

We will see on Sept. 10th, sir.

Tedd Ginn Jr. really isn't a Heisman candidate...he's a Dark Horse on some lists, and I think I've seen one magazine that had him as a top 5 candidate.

So, he's not a true Heisman candidate...YET.

He will probably return a punt/kickoff for a touchdown against your Longhorns, though.

And if Michael Huff is your best corner, the Buckeyes also have Santonio Holmes (I think he might be the pre-season favorite for the Biletnikoff award), Antonio Gonzalez (came on in the later games to be an excellent 3rd WR), and Roy Hall.

OSU's LBs will be able to contain Vince Young.

P.S.: Preseason rankings don't mean SHIT...OSU was ranked 10th I think in 2003 when they won the national title.

I can't wait for this game...it's going to be such a good game, and could possibly decide the season for both teams.

I think UK would do alot better if they werent in the SEC. The conference is tough, and Auburn not getting the nod last year after going undefeated is crapola. Thank god the Cats are there, so the Gators got someone to chew on ;)

Sup G, you going to the UL UK game? Or do you just wanna watch them get owned on the televison? Well anyways, I think we have a good chance this year.

The Big East BCS bid has already been awarded.......UofL bitches.
Im pretty sure that we have a good chance of going to a BCS bowl game this year because of the easy schedule, and by the way, preseason polls dont mean shit considering they have UofL like 10th or 11th or 12th or something when they had a better season than Oklahoma or anyone else in a fucking bowl game.

Good luck wiht the Heisman this year since I KNOW that UofL players never get respect so im not going to think that any of our players have a chance of winnning it even though we could go 11-0 this year during the regular season.

Good luck Big East you gonna need it.

EDIT: Hey DeV I know that you work in Louisville, so I was wondering where exactly do you do this working?

From the star tribune this morning...

'Maroney rushed for a career-high 203 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries.

Maroney started with a bang, taking the first play of the game 67 yards for a touchdown. He broke over the left side, shed several tackles and then did a somersault into the end zone.

He was just getting warmed up. Maroney went over the right side for a 73-yard touchdown with 13 seconds left in the first quarter for a 17-0 lead.

Maroney's two home runs gave him his 14th career 100-yard rushing performance (in the first quarter, no less), tying Marion Barber III for third most in school history.'

I know it was only Tulsa but I gotta cheer for them now before the play Michigan :thud:

Im a huge penn state fan i think we got a chance this year to suprise some teams we got some of the top recruits in the country last year with derek williams at WR and justin king at CB. and i think micheal robinson with more chances to throw the ball can be a good quaterback. and also are defense is one of the best in the big ten.

Although I give Uofl little or no credit in basketball, I have a great deal of respect for their football team.

I put Louisville down as one of my early favorites to win the Championship.

The toughest games for ol' Lowsyville will be on the road at Pittsburgh and West Virginia, but I think they can pull it off.

Sadly, I will not be attending the game as I will be working in Louisville, at the Courier-Journal.

Ohio State looked impressive, beating Miami Oh. 34-14 (it was 34-0 when all the subs for OSU came on the field against the 1st team Miami offense). Defense was amazing, and the offense was very efficient.

It looks like TCU is gonna pull an upset over Oklahoma, 17-10 right now in the 4th.

that game was fuckin awosme ou's quaterbacks looked like they have never played football in there lives.

if ur a michigan fan i would be worried about ur team i went to the game yesterday againist NIU and yes i was rootin for niu cause i live right by the universty. but anyways michigans defnese looked horrilbe they allowed more passin yards then anyone excited. niu's passing offense is horrible by the way. but if NIU didn't fumble twice then it would have been a really close game that NIU could have one. so what im sayin here is i don't think michigan is worthy of that 4th ranking at all.

anyways Penn state wins ye it was aganist south florida but a wins a win.
